Christian is an absolute master at his craft. I spent some time researching barbers around my neighborhood and Christian has absolutely blown away all my expectations of the entire hair cutting process. First, everyone in the shop is super down to earth and super welcoming, including his 1 year old puppy Kylo who came to say hi. Second, he’s an absolute master at his craft, he spent an hr cutting my hair and I was absolutely blown away with the results. He asked what type of hair cut but I left it up to him, every cut, every buzz seemed intentionally, he knew what he wanted to do. Third, he was super flexible with his time. I made the appointment through Yelp and threw out at a random time, Monday at noon expecting him to reject me, he replied “perfectly fine”; not many barbers are open on Mondays, let alone with a day advance notice. There’s also ample street parking, if not in front, around the corner. The price was absolutely fair considering all the worked he put in. Highly recommended!

Everything you can ask for in a barbershop and more. Clean and aesthetically pleasing from corner to corner. I was greeted as soon as I entered by all the barbers. Very welcoming feeling. I was also notified as soon as I came in that I was next. I’ve gone into barbershops before where when I enter, I just find myself a seat and don’t get welcomed or addressed at all. Then I just end up feeling lost and wondering when I’m next. That’s not at all how I felt about this place so I’ll definitely be back. The haircut itself was elite! The blend on my fade was immaculate and the lineup was crispier than bonchon chicken. My haircut took about an hour but I also had my beard cleaned up so that will take extra time. Christian was the one who took care of me today but looking forward to getting haircuts from Salt and Marque in the future. Walk ins are welcome, but appointments are definitely preferred. Parking was not a problem at all, although most are metered parking but it’s Daly City, not San Francisco. Highly recommend this place!! Can’t wait to come back already

In dire need of a haircut? Look no further than this new barbershop located in the heart of Daly City. As soon as we walked in, the guys were welcoming and friendly. I took my son to get his first haircut with clippers here. Christian did an amazing job with not only the cut, but making sure my son was comfortable. A huge thank you to Salt as well for making my son laugh during the process. I couldn’t have asked for more. I’m looking forward to be a long time customer of the Daly Trait.

The Daly Trait is my new go to barbershop. I’m usually the intimidated type going into new barbers because I never know what to expect. I’ve been to shops before where I walk in and they stare at me and don’t greet me and just felt unwelcome, but that was not the case at The Daly Trait. Christian was the one to cut my hair, but everyone introduced themselves as I walked in. I just felt very welcomed. I can guarantee that if you come in and get a haircut here you will leave feeling like a new person and you will look at your cut every second of the day and you’ll be happy with the customer service. They will not let you down. Thank you Christian and the team!
