Since we’d been out of town caring for him, I didn’t know where to go on a short notice. This new place opened in my area and they looked like pro’s so we went. We had a great experience!! My daughter is only 3 and received her first big girl haircut that looked amazing! Maria was so sweet and though she wasn’t familiar with my hair, she did exactly what needed to be done. When my Father passed away in January, my daughter and I needed haircuts before the funeral. Since we’d been out of town caring for him, I didn’t know where to go on a short notice. I just moved to Spring branch and was looking for a hair salon. This cute little place is nestled in Westview Memorial area. I met with Bruce and he did a free consult. I told him what I wanted and he gave me suggestions. I am so pleased. He took very good care of me from start to finish. Maria and Mario the owners are also really nice. I’ll definitely be going back there and I found a new salon and will see Bruce again. The place is extremely clean. I like that they have an online scheduler, it’s very convenient.

I came to get my haircut in the midst of the corona pandemic and this salon followed very safe precautions, there was a limited amount of people in the salon, all spaced out, everyone wore a mask, they provided hand sanitizer and checked my temperature as soon as I came in and I also had to sign a waiver. I rarely post a review but I’m doing this because MariaElena deserves to be recognized and appreciated for her outstanding work, and also in the hope that this might help others who, like what happened to me, are in search of a good colorist. I can not recommend her enough. I received a failed coloring job last Saturday from another salon, leaving me with a full head of green-ish, blue-ish and grey-ish supposedly blond-ish hair. Not only did Maria salvaged the situation, but she also gave me the exact color I wanted in the first place! I knew I could trust her after a few minutes of communication with her. She is very experienced and diligent, as well as warm, gentle and down to earth. She even went to the Instagram account where I got my coloring idea from. MariaElena is an absolute gem. I’m very glad that I found her.
