Most of our stylists have been with us 15-25 years. Our clients are important to us, that’s why we book out twice the time our competitors do for haircuts. We also, keep a large staff on so you don’t wait long. Important to us, we keep our prices reasonable.

Maria T. at CV location fits what I was looking for. She listened to what I described regarding a new haircut and verbally walked me through each step as she worked. Critical: QualityDue to our hair stylist having a last minute cancellation, we were in a bind and could not find any place that could take him except for California cuts. Upon walking in they did have someone available and unfortunately we let her cut my son’s hair. We did have to cut it quite a bit shorter but she completely and his haircut and we are probably going to have to take him into our hair stylist and simply have his hair buzzed and start growing it back out again. The hair stylist was Holly and had such an attitude. As someone who has had the same hair stylist for her children their entire lives I’ve always just had a trust and she completely ruined that. Due to our hair stylist having a last minute cancellation, we were in a bind and could not find any place that could take him except for California cuts. Upon walking in they did have someone available and unfortunately we let her cut my son’s hair. We did have to cut it quite a bit shorter but she completely and his haircut and we are probably going to have to take him into our hair stylist and simply have his hair buzzed and start growing it back out again. Funny story. Worst hair cut I’ve ever had! I show pictures of what I want to my stylist and explain not to cut it short. While she is cutting my hair, I’m cringing and telling her not to cut it too short because I have a fat face. “Don’t worry” she says, “You look fine” she says, meanwhile I walk out looking like Ms.Swan. I get home to find their business card on the fridge. Curious, I ask my Bf why it’s there and he says “Got the worst hair cut of my life there and I want to make sure I don’t make that mistake again.” Save yourself time, money, and embarrassment. Two different stylist and they both did horrible jobs. Please don’t contact me to “make it right”, you can’t reattach my hair and I would never accept a free hair cut and have to suffer through that embarrassment again.

My hair always looks great after I get it cut at California Cuts; the prices are reasonable, and although I have a favorite stylist I’ve used a couple of others when she’s been unavailable and the result has been equally excellent; There’s plenty of parking, and I like that one can either make an appointment for one’s favorite or can walk in off the street and get an excellent cut from anyone–whether you’re a woman or a man or even a child. (I’ve known each of the latter who get cuts there. (I’ve not had anything fancier than a haircut done).
