Steven was a super awesome dude! My little boy, almost 3, had his first cut it a real barbershop. He’s a guys guy, so I knew he’d love it. Although a little nervous at first, Steven was great and calmed him right down. He did a great job and was very attentive to detail. Bennett has only ever had toddler cuts, so this was a big first for us. We WILL be back in a few months thank you, Steven!

Me and my son both had haircuts today. I thought they looked pretty decent while our hair was still wet and combed down. As I drove home I realized it was super uneven everywhere. I had to have my fiancé who’s never cut hair before fix it. Still debating on just shaving it. This is the most expensive place I’ve had my haircut in the area and was the worst one at the same time. Will not be coming back.

I must’ve looked at about 20 different barbers/hair dressers in search of a classy, clean, and detailed fade (taper) haircut. My uncle told me about Big Rock Barber Shop, and now I won’t let anyone else get near my hair. They work quickly, and for the extra mile they go (hot towel shave, straight razor to ensure edges are nice and clean, and quality sports conversation) the $15 is the best you’ll ever spend!

This is a great place to go to. Yeah I could go to a franchise place and get a haircut for eight bucks and have a different haircutter every single time we talk about the same thing every time which makes you want to blow your brains out. Or you can come to a local owned business like big rock Barber shop and have the same people cut your hair every time and be able to build a relationship with them. Phil and Steve are great guys I love messing with them they make my days a little easier. Well worth the $15 for a haircut. It’s fun to be able to relax and crack jokes for 15 to 20 minutes. And I can’t wait by in this year me and Phil break even + 10 haha

So my 4 year old son can be very difficult when getting a hair cut. I usually have to drive all the way to Swansboro to a kids salon. I took him there in hopes that he would get his hair cut. Well, he did not go through with it but the man working was super patient and nice. He tried very hard and did not make me feel bad about trying. I have been to other places in the area who sent us packing after a few minutes. We were probably there about 20 minutes and not once did he tell us to go. He actually asked us to try again another time.
