100% unprofessional, i got my hair done for my graduation and it was extremely rushed with the ends barely finished , then upon returning she said she’d fix my hair and give a refund only to then lie to my face and say she only said she’d fix my hair. Mind you this fix was simply gel and moose. Will never go again . Also this is apparently 220$ worth of work.

Tata’s is the only place I go to get my hair braided. They all do an excellent job with their expertise. Every one leaves out happy!! They are very courteous to their customers. The salon is well kept. I do refer friends and family!!

The work is extremely bad and overpriced. I left the salon with a ton of gel all over my head. A hairstyle that should’ve lasted more than two weeks was taken down in a week because the style started to look old and my hair itched so bad. On top of that, they had a rat running around on my second visit.

My daughter’s hair was a mess after 4 days. She went back for them to fix it and it still looks the same. They put moose and get in her hair and sewed it a little. This was our 3rd time going there from the start of this one hair style. 150 down the drain and it was for her birthday!!!!!!!!!!!! Never again. Then she stopped answering my calls. So unprofessional. They tell you to come at 9am. But the chairs were all full. Then we go back the same day @3 and still waited an hour before getting started. The worst experience for my daughter ever!!!!!!!!

Went to get crotchet faux locs. Although it took the owner 7 hours to finish, it was still a rushed job. My braids were loose and sticking out 3 days later. I went to the shop to have it fixed. I was told it was the hair I purchased but I’ve purchased and used the same hair in the past and never had this problem. It’s been five days since my hair was “fixed” and I’m having the same issue. I will never waste my money here again.

The worst experience ever . They had me waiting for and for an hour and a half then the lady got there she was completely unprofessional she took 9 and 1/2 hours just to beaid my hair I never been to a shop when it was only one person braiding your hair they force me to pay them in the middle of my hairstyle which I never expressed that before the lady braided my hair way too tight all around my edges came out I she did not give me the hairstyle that I wanted they were so loud and obnoxious talking over top of your head laughing and just talking very loud while they’re sitting there doing your hair I told her numerous amount of times that she was braiding it tight she didn’t put any oil or any thing to try to soften my hair she didn’t even use a comb she used a clip the entire time to part my hair it really hurt it is only one person doing your hair it was like the worst thing I ever could experience I will never ever go there again or recommend this shop to anyone all I can say is enter at your own risk don’t waist your money or time .

Came here to get my daughter’s hair braided, but ended up paying $80 for a 5yr old to get get natural hair braided. I have been going to salons and getting my daughter’s hair braided for over 2 years and have never paid over $50 for her hair to get braided. Her hair did not have to get wash and they did not blow-dry her hair. After the young lady braided 15 % of her hair, she gave me the price of $80. I explained to her that I have never paid that much before and she told me it must not be in a shop, it must be in a home. I showed her pictures of my daughter getting her hair braided in different shops. She then stated the price was high because my daughter wanted beads in her hair in addition to the size of her braids (in which were small). I again showed her pictures of my daughter’s small braids from different shops. From there the older lady stayed to me that the young lady can stop doing my daughter’s hair (remind you that now my daughter’s hair is about 20% braided). I live approximately 7 min away and they could have gotten a long time client, but after my 1st/last experience here I would not recommend or go back. It’s should not be about money when I comes to a small business. It should be about the customer service and integrity.
