This is the second time I’ve had my hair done by Kelie and she is just phenomenal. She really listens to what you want and ensures that it is something that will work with your everyday life when it comes to how you style your hair regularly. I love the color and cut. In addition to just doing an amazing job on your hair she is easy to gab with. Highly recommend having kelie as your stylist!

Due to some extremely difficult (and personal) events in my life recently, I had a minor emotional breakdown while I was there. Jennie not only didn’t judge me at all, but she also listened to my problems and seemed like she cared. Then another woman (I think she works at the front desk but I don’t know her name) came to sweep some hair and, despite seeing me looking like an emotional mess, told me I looked beautiful after my haircut. And you know what, I think she really meant it. The kindness they showed to me is more appreciated than they could know. And on top of that, I left with a stellar haircut, as always.

I came in for a haircut with Kelly, and I left with the biggest smile on my face!! I got bangs cut, she did an amazing job and was quick, too. She cut them exactly the way I wanted them and they look fantastic. Definitely knows what she is doing. She’s the biggest sweetheart, as well! Had a lovely conversation with her! My work schedule results in “last minute” appointments and I sometimes have to switch between stylists but the result always beautiful.The extensions did wonders for my self esteem. My girlfriend came in today for a dye and a cut. She wanted her hair fully dyed an ash-brown color and got a semi-permanent dye only on her roots (which she was not informed of until after her stylist was finished.) The woman who styled her hair was trying to push her to get things done that she did not want (ex: trying to cut her bangs shorter. My girlfriend actually had to plead with her stylist to not cut them.) As she was leaving, the women at the shop pushed her into getting a $20 bottle of shampoo that she supposedly “needs” because the dye used was only semi-permanent. This probably wouldn’t have been necessary if she had gotten the type of dye she had initially asked for.

Best place ever especially now that they also have Renee there doing amazing manicures and pedicures! Love, love, love this aspect of the salon. Everyone is professional and friendly. Be careful when you go to the boutique side of the shop because there are a lot of really cute items to buy! I left with 2 really cute sweaters. You will not be disappoint!

As a dude, I never thought I would be leaving a review for a hair salon. But I’ve been to Tantrum Salon twice and there’s a nice, friendly face at the front desk and the sharp looking cuts I’ve received from Jennifer H. have gotten me some attention. She transformed my lid from a mop that hadn’t been cut in 8 months into a slick pompadour. And the girls have noticed. Thank you Jennifer!

I’ve been going here about once a month for over a year for regular hair cuts. I know you’re thinking “Why? When you could pay less at a Cost Cutters, Super Cuts etc. for a regular haircut.” I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for. I’ve had enough bad experiences at the cheap places. Plus they usually rush the job and botch the cut. End result? Your friends telling you it looks like your child cut your hair with their Crayola scissors. Not at Tantrum. I go to Carly for my haircuts and she does a top notch job of cutting it just the way I like, doesn’t rush and always makes sure I am happy with the end result. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcomes you with a smile as you walk through the door. So if you’re looking for a great haircut experience, go to Tantrum.
