I and my two minor kids have been going to this place for 4 years, since we moved to Sudbury. The staff is amazing. Isra has been cutting my son’s hair since he was 4 (he is 8 now). My 70-year old Mom tried more expensive salons in the area and keeps coming back to Cara. I’d say these folks excel at what they do and they became very kind friends to our family. Many thanks!

Made an appointment online for slowest period; 2 pm. Showed up 5 minutes early, waited 25 minutes to get seated. Stylist apologized for lateness explaining her break was delayed and she gets “hangry” if she doesn’t get sustenance.

Unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences getting my 9 year old’s hair cut. I don’t typically write reviews, but I’m a mom with 2 kids and I rely on other mom reviews often. This was my experience…I booked online a 3:15 appointment, and was not taking to the chair until 3:50. I watched, as 4 out of 5 staff moved slowly, counting pennies, not seeming to care my daughter and 6 year son had been patiently waiting. Finally my daughter gets to the chair, I tell the hairdresser just a trim with some layers and blow dry. She asked if I wanted her to wash her hair because that’s included in the blow dry price regardless, so I said, sure. Simultaneously, 2 other people were getting there hair cut (appointments were booked after ours for 3:30) and they went to sinks first, so more waiting… didn’t start process until 4. Stylist did not say 1 word to my daughter the entire time. She did the cut and blow dry. I get up to pay, and the total is $47.00. I asked how much the blow dry was, because on the sign I was staring at states $12 for kids blow dry. She responds it was $30. I inquired what made it cost this versus $12, as listed, which is what I thought I was getting. Her only explanation was it took longer… to note, my daughter doesn’t have a lot of hair and is a little past shoulders. She used a round brush, but how else would she have done it? Overall the staff was not very friendly, place was very dirty and in disrepair, the cut was just ok and the blow dry took forever, cost too much and wasn’t even very good. Needless to say, the whole experience was really subpar and we will never be returning. I guess because it’s a Supercuts, not an upscale salon, this is what I should have expected… : (
