I am not one to leave reviews or ever leave a complaint but this is a situation that definitely deserves one. I went in yesterday for a haircut, my mom and I both had appointments for 4:30 I was attended first since my service was only shampoo and cut, and moms was cut and color but Shantel requested my mom come in the following day since there was not enough time until they closed. I requested 1 1/2 inches off only the back of my hair and face framing which I had from a prior haircut but just needed a touch up (I had shown 3 pictures for reference). The lady who began cutting my hair did the back, I was fine then proceeded to the front for face framing, she sectioned off the hair and then took the two front pieces of my head and cut them straight across. Shantel, who was next to us cutting a mans hair, stopped what she was doing and proceeded to grab the section and cut my hair to show her an “easier way to do it.” The lady working on my hair tried to continue that method but was genuinely not turning out correctly. I noticed then that my hair was not parted, which I had to stop and ask her to part after I saw she was cutting sections shorter. She then parted the middle of my hair and proceeded, I thought to trust the process and everything was going to turn out fine until she started cutting sections out of the face framing sections she separated. it started moving towards the back of my head and i had to stop and ask her if she was giving me layers in the back of my head which I NEVER requested and the lady working on my hair said oh you didn’t want layers? and Shantel intervenes and says “they’re only minimal” Since half of the back of my head was already in layers I said it was okay to continue. I was already on the verge of tears on the chair when she finished but I truly was not able to see the damage that was done to my hair until I came home and straightened it. It is unbelievable and terrible the job that was done and i would not recommend it to anyone. There are random pieces on my head in the back that are shorter than the front, underneath all of my hair is the shortest and the face framing is no where near what face framing should look like. My requests were very minimal and I was genuinely so so unhappy, i keep in mind that hair grows back but the situation is very unfortunate and unprofessional.

Mayra was a great find for my 4-year-old son’s long hair. He was a little nervous and quite wiggly, and she was very patient with him. She also made some great suggestions on how to improve his haircut. I was very pleased with her professionalism and friendliness, as well as the outcome. We would come back here again, even though it’s not the closest or most convenient location for us.
