So if you get a membership, you will have to pay a $30 fee just so you know. The website does not tell you that. They will try and upsell you by saying you can either pay the fee or get a tanning package… the fee is cheaper then any package they give you by like a lot. If you’re not trying to spend $200 just to tan, I suggest bring your own lotion and eyewear otherwise you’re paying the membership, the fee AND lotion/eyewear. However, I did see great results in only a level 1 bed with their lotion.

I used to work at ultra tan for about 3 years in South Carolina!! I had heard from 2 different people that the girls at Sunday’s were rude and these people didn’t sign up!! I was optimistic when I went in this past Thursday!! I knew I wanted just a month or maybe like a 5 or 10 session package!! So I started off telling them this and we started off with a tour of the salon which is proper protocol!! I was disappointed with this and we had just started!! It didn’t seem like they had many bed choices..maybe cause some were being used but it seemed like it was all about promoting their other services like the vibrating chair and other things that I wasn’t interested in!! So I saw they had a package of $18 online and that offered level 1 and 2!! Level 2 is a stand up so I wasn’t interested anymore since I don’t care for stand ups!! The next package was for $58 and that included 3 levels..which I got 2 different types of lay down beds which is what I wanted!! So I was going to pick that one and then I know you have to use lotion and I know they make commission but up sell is an understatement!! So I told them I only wanted to spend like $25 to $30 on lotion and the lady training the other 2 girls laughed and said we are not Walmart and told the girls to cover the cameras jokingly so she could pretend to throw a bottle of lotion at me!! I felt uncomfortable and felt the rudeness that I had been warned about!! So she pulls down 2 of the cheapest lotions and I pick one…then she says if I get an after care lotion that I get all this other stuff for free…a leg or face bronzer..the goggles…a chapstick…and a mesh bag!! So I ask her to add it up and see how much it will be!! At the end she said all that stuff was $75 (so what was free?)!!And that didn’t include the $58!! So I was feeling very unsure and told them I needed to smoke a cig and think about it!! I went to my car and added it all up and it came to $133 for just one month!! I was so disappointed cause I thought since they had so many locations like where I used to work that they would have lots of options and be flexible!! And that I would tan that day and be happy!! But no they made it a difficult process!! I had to go back online and found the perfect place!! It’s called Sun resorts off diamond springs!! One girl working there and she was very informative and nice!! They had so many different options!! Like single visits…a set of 5 visits and so on!! Like most tanning places!! I wound up getting a level 2 membership which is 2 different lay down beds and it was $37.77 and then for the lotion I was going to pick something cheap but for signing up for a month I got 25% off plus another 40% off the lotion!! So my $60 lotion I picked came down to $23.45!! All together it was $65.97!! That’s all I wanted!! A package and a lotion for a decent price!! Oh and at Sunday’s you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel which is the same for sun resorts but at Sunday’s I asked if they would write down for me when I would need to cancel and she looked and me and said you have a calendar on your phone right?? Another rude statement!! So I proceeded to say I just thought you could write it down on a sticky note while I ran but nevermind!! The girl at sun resorts had no problem doing that for me!! Sorry this is so long but I don’t normally do reviews but I felt this was necessary!! Moral of the story…do a little research online first ha!! Could of saved me some time and embarrassment/ harassment!!

I went for my first spray tan last week. I’ve never done this before but didn’t have enough time to get a tan before my trip to the west coast. A young lady (with red hair) I believe her name is Erica assisted me. It got pretty busy and she was working alone, however she never rushed me through the process. She moved as quickly as possible getting customers situated but still made time to make me feel comfortable with what I was doing….mainly because I was nervous I was going to mess up like Ross did on an episode of Friends lol. Back to the point… I wanted to say thanks to Erica and make sure I let you know I appreciate the great service!

I would of gave the staff 5 stars but the company as a whole is a joke. Managers change like there is no tomorrow and so does staff. I came in to cancel my account with them due to one of their rude managers and now when they finally have a good manger I’m being told that I have to pay almost $200 because they can not find my paperwork. Such B/S , so now I’m being told I’m a liar. It’s so unbeilable to me that corporate can not even fix this situation. I will not pay that balance that I do not owe. I canceled like they wanted me to and I waited the 2 months. Then they changed me again the 3rd month and when I spoke to the manger then she claimed it would be fixed , which it never was. So if anything Sunday’s owes me $59 , I will never come here again! Thanks
