Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismCame in today for my first spray tan ever and the very very very professional front desk employee was so great. I wish I remembered her name. I had no clue what I was doing and she was very thorough in explaining everything and helping me decide what level of spray tan I should get. She made me feel comfortable and I can’t wait to get another one. Came in today for my first spray tan ever and the very very very professional front desk employee was so great. I wish I remembered her name. I had no clue what I was doing and she was very thorough in explaining everything and helping me decide what level of spray tan I should get. She made me feel comfortable and I can’t wait to get another one. I would recommend suncare in Rio rancho to everyone!

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI purchased a Groupon for fit body wraps. Upon arrival I was greeted and asked if I’ve ever been there. It had been years since I receive treatment at this salon. I told the woman at the counter that I had in fact been there before but it had been years. She asked my name and told me that I had one more fit body wrap left available that I never used back in 2015. She told me that my current, newly purchased Groupon would not be valid and stated that Groupon should’ve never allowed me to buy another package. She told me that I could use the one body wrap that was left back in 2015 but that I would have to call Groupon for a refund On my newly purchased Groupon or the discounted amount towards another service at the salon. I was confused and did not understand as to why she would not validate/honor my newly purchased Groupon. It had been years since I have gone to this salon you would think this salon would welcome all guests with open arms and honor the Groupon. She immediately showed me multiple menus of spa services that were super expensive in comparison to my Groupon. At this point I felt under valued as a customer and only seen as a way to make more money. I told the woman at the counter that I would think about my decision as to what I wanted to do. She then proceeded to take me back for my wrap and again started introducing sprays that I could buy to enhance my fit wrap that started at $45 a bottle. Again, I declined. As I went into the room and prepared for my fit heat wrap, I got dressed and laid in to the bed only to smell a very uncomfortable smell coming from the thermal blanket you lay in. I can only compare the smell to dirty sweat. At this point it made me think, this is probably why I never finished out my Groupon back in 2015 as well as never going back since. I was definitely dissatisfied by the way I was greeted and treated. They also did not advise me before hand to take water in as you need plenty during this fit wrap. Thank goodness I had a half a bottle left, as again I was offered water to buy, a small bottle for $1.50. They sure do know how to market and make extra money off the people that go in there. Ive been going to Suncare for years. The staff is very friendly and professional. They know everything about sunless tanning and skin care. The facilities are very clean. I highly recommend SunCare. I dont ever have to go anywhere else for tanning. I will ALWAYS take my business to SunCare. Thank you for doing a great job!
