The two employees working during my visit were extremely rude and condescending to me. They put me in a room for a spray tan, and when the hydration didn’t work, I spoke to the front desk. Then, they acknowledged that the booth was in fact broken, yet they told me that they “couldn’t do anything else about it. Bye.” Verbatim. After I asked for help again, they refused to offer me assistance by shrugging me off like I hadn’t just paid for their services. I have been going to this Sun Tan City location for several years, and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I will be telling everyone how terribly the staff treats their customers, and I will never be returning to this business. It’s a shame to see the lack of care that has been growing at this location. I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend who came in last night at 9:35 for a spray tan (that takes under 5 minutes to spray) and when she walked in the door an older woman working night shift 5/11/22 greeted her with “I hope you’re not here to get a spray tan.. you know it takes time to clean those and we close at 10. People have homes to get to” My friend- not being the confrontational person unfortunately, didn’t say anything back to this employee and almost left just because of how uncomfortable this employee made her feel. She was rude and disrespectful and should not have any type of job in customer service. If working until 10 PM irritates her I suggest shifting her for the morning time because she’s very lucky a person like me, who isn’t afraid to be confrontational, wasn’t on the receiving end of that. Disgusting. Anyways I would like to say Olivia is super nice and sets a great example of what great customer service is like. She’s always there when I come in and is amazing! I wish my friend had the same experience.

This place allowed me to check in online on 4th of July yet I drive all the way over there and they are closed. I think it’s ridiculous when you’re charging outrageous prices to be closed on any holiday. Tanning

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have been to several locations and this one is by far the best! The staff is always friendly and while I tend to upgrade to the instant bed when available, the others I have used are still high quality beds.I was only planning to post a positive comment/ rating but once I read some of the previous reviews, I felt the need to stand up for the staff and provide some information as well.As a long time client, I have witnessed people treating the staff horribly when they are simply doing their job. I have been appalled as these “adults” demean, insult and dismiss the folks working at the counter, most of whom are significantly younger and are teenagers with this being their first job. The kicker is that the clients have been wrong in every case.I came in 30 minutes before closing one weeknight during school to find a large group of parents who had brought their pre teen daughters in to get spray tans before a cheerleading competition. They were very upset because the staff was having them fill out the necessary paperwork (required by law) and had been under the impression (probably still are) that all 15-20 girls could somehow receive the spray tanning at once. They had expected to just show up, pay for the group and be in and out in 15 minutes. They were not prepared and were causing such a scene that even their children were embarrassed.While “Karens” are everywhere, Williamson County has more than they norm.Other customers may not be aware (I was not when I started going) but the staff receives commission on additional services/ products they sell so please keep that in mind. It is also part of their job- similar to a server at a restaurant or any other customer service job. Be patient or just tell them you are set with products and they if you want to use your points (if upgrading) when checking in.In addition to the weekend half points specials they run, there are other promotional events throughout the year- again, it is the job of the staff to let the clients know.In summary, treat the staff the way you would want to be treated- do not be a Karen!Service: TanningI have been to several locations and this one is by far the best! Positive: ProfessionalismMicheal Corby was probably one of the most caring and joyful people that has helped me at suntan city. No one ever has had this positive of an attitude as Micheal. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible TERRIBLE experience. The bed I had was well below par, as you can see, and it looked like the towel had already been used which leads me to believe the bed wasn’t cleaned. The service was outrageously rude as well. Michael, the shift lead or manager, had less than 1% of interest in providing a positive experience. Not only did he not help us, but we brought two friends with us who had never tanned and he didn’t help them at all. I’ve had better customer service from a janitorial staff than I did from this guy. Just outright terrible experience, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I tan here a lot. The staff is always friendly. BUT on many more occasions than 1 has my bed NOT been clean. Little hairs and lotion marks from the previous customer. Just double check your bed before you lay in it.

These girls are SUPERFANTASTIC They are always happy to see me walk in and I feel at home when I’m here! There’s no other place I would want to go to be able not only get my tan on but relax and feel like I’m right at home! I feel like these girls have my back I wouldn’t go anywhere else to tan.
