I’ve had a pleasant experience at both Sun and Gel nails. I came here because I had a horrible experience at an unrelated salon a week before and desperately needed them redone. Anna was very kind and quick with the job. I’m very pleased with how they turned out and will continue to return here. Everyone was very nice and enjoyable to be around!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI absolutely love Sun Nails! I stopped in today to get my nails re-done (I had a bad experience somewhere else). The girl that did my nails knew exactly what I wanted and made sure my nails were perfect. I wanted a nude ombré and she aced it! Not only was she highly experienced, but, she was fast and efficient too. I was also very impressed with how clean the salon is and how strict they are with covid-19 awareness and sanitation for themselves, tools and clients. I absolutely love Sun Nails! I stopped in today to get my nails re-done (I had a bad experience somewhere else). The girl that did my nails knew exactly what I wanted and made sure my nails were perfect. I wanted a nude ombré and she aced it! Not only was she highly experienced, but, she was fast and efficient too. I was also very impressed with how clean the salon is and how strict they are with covid-19 awareness and sanitation for themselves, tools and clients. Critical: Professionalism, QualityToday I took my mother-in-law to get manicures done at Sun nails. My sister-in-law was supposed to join, but morning of, she had to cancel. Appointments were at 9 AM so when I got there I said it would just be the two of us and I apologized there would not be a third. They didn’t respond to that so they may not have heard me. The one man told me to pick out a color and stood over and watched me the entire time. There was only one other woman getting her nails done in the corner seat, yet they chose to seat my MIL in chair 1, and me all the way down in chair 9 with nobody in between us so we had to yell to one another if we wanted to talk. However we barely got to talk because the entire time the staff was talking to each other in their native language and laughing very loudly non stop, so we couldn’t even hear each other. When someone else finally came in to get a pedicure she thought they didn’t open until 10 AM but the one woman working told her they open at 9AM and that she is there every day at 8:45 AM so then I didn’t feel too bad that we had a last-minute cancellation since she’s there regardless. But then she went on to complain about having a no-show at 9 AM to that woman – sitting right behind me! Regardless of the experience I had with the staff, the quality of manicure I received was the worst I’ve ever had. I showed the man two pictures of the shape I wanted, he took two seconds to look at it and said OK but never once did he check to see if the lengths matched on each hand of each finger. So my thumbs are two different lengths as well as my index and pinkies. he never cleaned up my cuticles or oiled them or had me scrub anything just offered some lotion at the end. Today I took my mother-in-law to get manicures done at Sun nails. My sister-in-law was supposed to join, but morning of, she had to cancel. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI’ve been going to Anna for years … the last time she told me to come at 6:15 and when I got there she was doing a full set of nails … I waited 35-40 minutes. She never said sorry .So I called today for an appointment with her and she said could someone else do me . NO I I I called for an appointment with Her !!She made a lame excuse about not wanting to stop to answer the phone which she has done before .
