This is the worst experience that I’ve had with a hairstylist thus far. I scheduled a consultation because I would have been a new client for Adrianna. However, the day of the appt., she emailed me and said she could not make it because of something to do with her family. I understood that because if it was me, I would drop everything for my family. So, she said I could either do a virtual consultation with her later that day, or reschedule an in-person consultation later that week. Well, I told her that a virtual consultation would work better for me, but the entire day went by and she never emailed me back. I sent her about two more emails over the next two days, and the ENTIRE week went by and she STILL did not email me back. And I already paid $35 for the consultation and a $50 deposit for the ACTUAL service for aug 18th. I understand that she had something going on with her family, but to go an entire week and have LITTLE TO NO communication with your NEW CLIENT is wrong and sets a bad first impression. Overall, I really feel like I was RIPPED OFF and I never even received the service. On top of that, I saw her post someone else’s hair that she did on her Instagram story. She has been unprofessional, and I’m very disappointed because I was looking forward to a new look for my hair. ♀️

I love this salon!! Suede and Silk is definitely a go to for all things natural hair. The expertise and years of experience among the stylists is what sets them apart. After having locs for several years I needed something new and Adrianna recommended cutting my hair into a bob. The hair cut was amazing, my locs now cascade down my face in a beautiful bob.
