Boy and I went looking for a cheap routine trim. We got late at work and arrived a bit late but they kindly welcomed us in and cut our hair. Price for standard cut without any bells/whistles is $18 male and $22 female.

Such a hidden gem! My stylist actually listened and kept my length. They also knew exactly what questions to ask and I felt very secure in their care. Highly recommend!

I took my five-year old son here for a haircut. We typically go to those kid haircut places but they always mess up his hair, so we tried here instead. The stylists here were so nice! They gentleman who we saw did a really good job on his hair and was so patient with him. We will definitely be back. My son loved the experience and told me when we left that it was the “best haircut ever”.

I brought my sibling to get a haircut. At first, the woman greeted us politely and warmly. Hoping that my sibling would get her as his hairdresser, I sat down and got on my phone to deal with some personal matters. Unfortunately, my sibling was attended by the other hairdresser. I didn’t get a good look of her, so I won’t be able to provide a description of the woman. All I can say is that she was Asian and thin, much thinner the original woman who greeted us as we came in. Anyway, this hairdresser sat my sibling down, asked them how they wanted their haircut, and that was that. She didn’t bother to ask them if the haircut was coming along well or if they liked how it was shaping up. I found it intriguing how a person whose job is to interact with their clientele did the exact opposite. She gave my sibling what SHE wanted. My sibling is on the younger side, barely fresh out of middle school so this will be a perfect opportunity for them to learn how to speak up. The hairdresser on the other side, well I expected more from her. At the end of the day, this is her job. She refused to interact with her customer. When she was done with my sibling, she simply brushed away the hairs, and told them to go pay. She rang them up, told them to sign the receipt, and then walked off to the back. This hairdresser didn’t come back to get the signed copy of the receipt or to wish us a good day. I loudly thanked the other hairdresser (the one who had greeted us at first), but she pretended not to hear us. So we walked out and that was that, a cold experience from this place. However, I did notice that these two asian women were very very warm and friendly towards their caucasian customers, while they avoided and didn’t interact with their customers of color (us). Just goes to show that discrimination within minorities exists.
