She apologized for the last visit that made me feel uncomfortable and, connected me with Jennie. Jennie fixed my hair and was also very pleasant, polite, professional, and most importantly highly skilled.I love my hair now! Everyone around me keeps complimenting me on my new haircut. Super happy with it and glad I gave the place a second chance even though I was hesitant because of the previous experience. She was very snappy towards the end even though I had an appointment with her. There was also confusion with the scheduling. I did not feel I deserved that treatment as I was very patient with the whole schedule confusion and having to come back. She lost her patience with me, her tone of voice changed so much towards the end with me very snappy and made me feel uncomfortable. I felt like I wanted to walkout towards the end because of the way she was speaking to me and handling my hair. She did have another person she needed to help but I think she could have handled it differently. ***UPDATE: Got a call from the owner following my appointment she was very sweet and pleasant. She apologized for the last visit that made me feel uncomfortable and, connected me with Jennie. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueBuyer beware! This salon charges for every little thing. Normally at every salon I went to a haircut includes a bang trim, blow dry, and styling. If you want your hair dyed you get the color you asked for and you won’t be charged if you want your hair darker. When I was going to this salon I was being charged for a haircut and color (this is normal) however, then I was getting separate charges for flat ironing, blow drying my wet hair, and get this a bang trim even when I’m paying for a haircut! Then my already black hair that I wanted to maintain, somehow got switched to a dark brown instead of black as requested and this was going on for months (I was going to this salon regularly). Finally a stylist brought this up and then mentioned that it would be an additional $40 to change the dye color to black! And not to mention on top of all this, they recently raised their prices to $43 more and they informed me of this price hike once I was sitting in the salon chair about to get my hair done! So because of all of this and the fact that they hacked my bangs and ignored my messages asking for a refund, I will never go back! Buyer beware! This salon charges for every little thing. Normally at every salon I went to a haircut includes a bang trim, blow dry, and styling. If you want your hair dyed you get the color you asked for and you won’t be charged if you want your hair darker. You’re not crammed together like sardines in a tin can. There’s plenty of space between clients. They sanitize everything and continue to do so through out the day. The customer service is amazing and they treat you like family. Everything is well managed and it’s in a great location. I love coming here and will continue to do so. There’s plenty of space between clients. They sanitize everything and continue to do so through out the day. The customer service is amazing and they treat you like family.
