I’ve been seeing Shelby since 2018 and I mean it when I say I will never find a stylist like her. The care and time she puts into making sure that every client has a personalized and memorable experience is why I come back time and time again. Shelby has done everything from beautiful copper to icy blondes and silvers, to bold blue-black color for me. She she has a true gift for color and for crafting beautiful cuts. Sonia, Cindy, and Rae are also all so friendly and professional and they all add to the warmth that is Studio Five 12. It’s such a beautiful and inviting space, and these incredibly talented women make it an absolutely gem. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

It’s so hard to find a good hair stylist – like I can’t count the number of times I’ve paid an absurd amount of money only get home and feel the need to fix what I just paid a professional to do. I had Rae do a cut and style and I’m in love. No need to fix anything she did – she’s super talented. Attentive to what you want and lets you know what kind of style could work best for you if you’re “on the fence” about a certain cut.. she knows what she’s doing and also just incredibly nice. I’ll never have another person cut my hair again.

I have been following Shelby for years now, actually I think Since 2013 and have been so confident in her abilities referred multiple friends. This is hands down my favorite space as it is small and personal. Shelby understands my hair and what I am willing to put in day in and day out. From the first time we met I told her I use a hair dryer and my hands if that cannot style it I will not do it. She listens and still somehow makes my hair look beautiful. I am a natural dirty blond and Shelby has been making me the most perfect red for years now! Multiple times a week I get compliments on my hair color. Enough about her skills, Shelby is also a friend. Takes time to know my family knows what we discussed last appointment and follows up. The team is welcoming, and I am always finding myself having a great laugh while I am in the chair not only with Shelby but with her peers as well as their clients. See the perfect red below!

I went to Studio Five Twelve to recieve a cut & color from Rae. Studio Five Twelve is a fun & relaxing environment. Rae is very personable, knowledgeable, & communicative. She refreshed my overgrown, weighed down hair with layers & bangs. Now it has plenty of movement & is fun, just in time for Spring! I also recieved color from Rae. She put in a deep purple with smokey lavender framing my face. It’s all blended in with my natural dark brown and scattered grey. I absolutely love everything she has done to my hair & have recieved many compliments. I will definitely continue putting my hair in Rae’s hands.
