The receptionist was nice and welcoming, I had no issues using my Groupon. So pleased with the service I booked my next appointment before I left.

I feel like the salon is extremely clean and well maintained, and that their covid protocols have been excellent. Services are reasonably priced, and monthly specials are great too. I went in for henna brows which is suppose to last 4-6 weeks and it lasted a total of 1 day, and they charge you so much money. Not worth it. I also followed all precautions to preserve the henna but it did not last. Critical: ProfessionalismI was very excited to have microblading with Chrissy. In early March, I had a consultation with her and she was very open and warm in explaining the process. From there, I scheduled my appointment and made a deposit. Shortly after the consultation, the unfortunate pandemic surfaced, which led to (well you know)… lots of business closings. Apprx. 2-3 weeks later, I received a call from one of the staff members, who asked if I would like to reschedule my appointment for April, in which I did. At that time, I wasn’t sure of the process and guidelines for salons during the stay-at-home order. Nonetheless, I went to my appointment and the business was closed. I was really looking forward to the microblading procedure. Since the business was closed, I wasn’t able to get in touch with any of the staff by phone and therefore left a voice message, sent an email and reached out on the social media page. I was very disappointed and surprised at the level of unorganization and inconsideration the staff has at this company. As I reached out to Chrissy, she informed me that she contacted all of her clients to cancel their appointments. That’s when I asked; why didn’t you contact me since I was scheduled with you. This lengthy conversation turned into several responses from her stating; “all I can do is apologize”. Which doesn’t sound quite like an apology to me. I’m mainly disappointment in the fact that she continued to tell me that I must have contacted the Dilworth location and not the Ballantyne location. This is irrelevant. She went on to say that I can get a refund, in which I never asked for. I only asked to be contacted in advance of the appointment and cancellations, especially since I drove a nice distance to have the procedure. As the stay-at-home order is now lifting, I still haven’t received any feedback on what’s next. In an attempt to call, the recorded message is very choppy and difficult to understand. I noticed that Chrissy has also removed me from her social media when I attempted to view her page for updated notices regarding re-opening. Since the website is still showing temporarily closed, Im wondering if they will reopen to refund my deposit. It’s service like this which keeps certain businesses from prospering.
