I go to Stella & Shay regularly for manicures and have never been disappointed! Every person I have talked to on the team is amazing and so kind and personable. Kaycey does my nails and she’s a phenomenal nail guru and makeup artist as well. I’ve also seen Jill and Jeniece for nails and they do a great job! The salon is so cute and stylish and they have an awesome product selection. I will always recommend!

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI use Stella and Shay for all my hair care and skin care and knew I would need to use them for my wedding. When I had to postpone my big wedding but still had a small ceremony they worked with me to make sure I would be taken care of both days! Jackie was wonderful as she helped me plan exactly what I needed for myself and the bridal party and Bridget was amazing with my hair. She also took each girl’s hair and preferences into account and created something for each of them that was perfect. Vanessa did my spray tan and my wedding make up and made sure both of my days would have a unique look that still felt like me. I cannot wait for my big wedding and I am so glad I will be with Stella and Shay again! I’ve gotten my nails done here a handful of times and have always been happy with the service! If you find a picture of nail art that you like, they’ll do it for you and it always turns out so great! They’ve also been very safe with COVID-friendly rules in place. (Masks/distancing) Would recommend!

I cannot believe how poorly I was treated by Stella and Shay. I made an appointment for a set of gel nails over six weeks ago. The technician called AND texted me last night to confirm my appointment today. A mere 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment they called and cancelled. I was told that the next available appointment available to me would be July 25th! My husband and I both lost a day of work and I was given absolutely zero consideration when it came to rescheduling. If this is how they treat clients, I would think twice before scheduling ANY service with them.

I wasn’t going to leave a review, but the more I look at my nails, the more upsetting it is. The service side is great, very friendly staff, cute interior, it’s convenient that you can book appointments online. However, the mani was performed really poorly. Being from Europe, I’m used to going to a salon for manicures that I wouldn’t be able to do myself. Especially with it not being a cheap salon, you expect a certain result. That’s the picture of a gel manicure done by Beth. Half of the cuticle length wasn’t even removed, it looks like it was done at least a week ago, but it’s only second day. The edges are very uneven, I was under the impression the master tried to save nail polish, I can still see the lines from the brush strokes. Nails on left and right hand are different lengths. When I left the salon, there was nail polish stuck to my fingers around nails, it fell off eventually. Overall very disappointed.

We have had this treatment done by other establishments but nothing, I mean nothing compared to the service that we obtained here. Both technicians were extremely skilled, professional and very meticulous in their work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stella and Shay to anyone, both male and female who want to receive top notch, great care from an establishment that truly cares about their clients. Soooo I really wanted to love this place. The staff is friendly and it’s a very chic spot. However, the quality of nail work is trash. I had to go back to get my pedicure fixed due to thick nail paint and too many coats. They were nice enough to squeeze me in and get it fixed before my trip. But I also got Apres Gel Extensions and this hurts my heart but they started popping off after 4 days. I spent way too much money.

First time here I had a great experience with my stylist! She was nice and friendly and I like my cut. I also thought it was well priced. Nothing extremely amazing, but it was my first time. I unfortunately did not think the receptionist was very friendly. When I go get my hair done it’s a treat and a special experience for me, and I would assume many people feel the same way. I love feeling pampered and I want to be in a positive environment! I read raving reviews of Stella and Shay so I think I maybe expected the customer service to be a bit more. So for now I will give 3 stars and I will go for another visit to see if this is the salon for me. 🙂
