It’s hard to find a good nail spot, especially when visiting from out of town. Found Star Nails on a Google search and stopped in for a pedicure. It was just what I needed. The team was great, the music was so peaceful, and it was such a relaxing experience.

I think this business does a good job when you do get in. However, two times when I’ve gone there for a pedicure (without a appointment) at the door they yelled “we’re busy”. Not asking if I would like to come back or do I wish an appointment. The first time it happened I was caught off guard, but I just shrugged it off…but then it happened the second time and I thought it was quite rude for a business to talk to patrons that way.

I just had to cut all of my nails off due to my manicurist scraping the gel polish off when it hadn’t fully lifted and then vigorously buffing my natural nailbed. My nails were so weak and brittle after the removal and incredibly scratched. I finally had enough after my nail peeled majorly two weeks later, even with nail polish on them. This has only happened once before the OTHER time i had gotten gel nails at a different salon. They messed my nails up. I wanted it professionally removed but they ended up doing the same removal i did. I could see my nail peeling as she was scraping the gel off.

I am in town for work and called Stars fresh off the plane. They were amazing and I truly enjoyed my time. The pedicure and dip nails they did were amazing and look absolutely beautiful. Recommended a few restaurants for me to try. Amazing husband and wife team and made me feel pampered and relaxed by the end. Wish I could take them back to Arizona with me!!!!

This salon is no longer Artistic Nails, it’s called Star Nails and it’s under different management. I’ve been going here for a year now because they’re amazing. My entire family goes there as well. Only once did I have a bad experience– my nails were shaped a way I did not like (too short) and everyone was very understanding and apologetic when I did not want to have them painted. Phong and Tram are practically magic, everyone is polite and they will do their best to fit you in even if they’re booked, but do call ahead if you can. They close early sometimes if they’re empty and there are no appointments.
