Critical: ProfessionalismFirstly, I had no issue with the stylist who cut my hair. She was sweet, though clearly uncomfortable when the other woman (manager, maybe?) was like, hey, tell her (myself) to wear a mask.On this locations website, it stated that masks are recommended, not required. I am so very sick of this company refusing services to clients based on nonexistent mask mandates. I responded by asking, why? Why should I cover my face? They said its policy. What policy? For what reason? Based on WHAT? They said, its our policy. OK, little robots. So, you can’t actually answer my question. That’s fun.To the owners, if you are going to have your staff treat clients like disease-ridden lepers, at least have some kind of logic behind it. Repeating “its policy” over and over is not a reason.**In response to the owner’s reply:It was very obvious that your staff can tell clients to put on a mask. I never doubted they were enforcing YOUR nonsensical policies. No question there. The issue is A)there is no actual reason -legal or otherwise- to do so and B)your staff don’t even understand why they’re enforcing it. So… again… if you are forcing your staff to treat your clients like disease-ridden lepers, at least have the decency to teach the staff to explain in a polite, human-like manner.
