My husband and children get their hair done at Sports Clips (not typically this location until as of late) and I walked in today to check the possibility of availability for myself on a whim for an MVP hair cut. Immediately I was asked if I checked in online and was told they were booked for the day (that’s fine and understandable) however the conversation that followed was rude and presumptive. She informed me that I could come back on a Wednesday when someone with experience with women’s hair would be working and I then clarified and asked if I had to indeed wait until Wednesday for an appointment to get a shaved hair style. She scoffed and asked if I wanted to shave all my hair off and I said no, that I wanted the sides shaved and the top short and she informed me just to book online. I said thanks and walked out and scheduled elsewhere to get my hair done.

The person that last cut my hair was more interested in her watch than having a conversation with her customer or cutting hair, it was like she was scared to do her job. Anywhere else I have gotten my hair cut they comb your hair in multiple directions to make sure to get it even, not Lisa she barely combed it. She claimed that she took off 1/2″ but there’s no way. My hair doesn’t even look like its been cut and it was cut today. The BEST cut I have ever received from this place was by someone from their Lynchburg location that was helping out. Ill be going back to Beards and Shears going forward. (And no this wasn’t the first time that I went to this location, I’ve been to it 3-4x to make sure that it wasn’t just 1 bad experience)

My entire experience was extremely sub par, my stylist was Larissa I believe and she spent probably the first 2-3 minutes of the haircut trying to push products on me followed by a few unnecessary comments after I very clearly said I wasn’t interested in anything extra during my visit. Toward the end of my appointment she asked me how much hair Id like cut off the top and after telling her my normal she replies “Well I’ll tell you now you’re definitely going to want more” and then proceed to take closer to 1/2-1 inches extra off without even asking me. My cut also has a roughly 2 inch sized area where the hair is very clearly cut shorter than the rest around it. At the end i was never shown the back of my head to see how it had come out either. I have a job interview on Sunday and now I’m concerned I won’t be able to have a professional looking haircut for it. Definitely will not be returning to this location nor will I be recommending it to friends or family.

I took my 11 year old son here for the first time and we both said we would be back in the future. You have the option of just walking in without an appointment which is what we did. You can also sign-in from your car by going to their website and it will give you your wait time which I thought was great! The lady that cut my son’s hair was very friendly and she also did a great job on my son’s hair! We will definitely be return customers!

I’ve been going to this location for about a year now. It seems though that there is a large disconnect between the app and the store lately. The store has been closed several times where the app said they were opening. Today, I was able to finally book my haircut. Unfortunately, I waited inside for 45 mins past when the app told me to be there with no end in sight. I left because no one spoke to me the entire time while waiting until I asked to cancel my appointment.

This use to be a decent place to get a haircut but have changed stylist, I see why now. Called because I couldn’t get signed in on line after multiple tries to get signed in and was told to sign in online, That’s the reason I was calling cause I was unable to sign in online and the lady that answered the phone said she couldn’t help me so they have lost 3 customers now. Especially after being hung up on, and the last time I had my sons hair cut there they messed it up bad, they lady cutting his hair was very slow and was trying to get help from other stylist like she didn’t know what she was doing anyway, even on the person before cutting my sons hair, the stylist was not listening to the customer , This place has turned to poor service and complaints does no good, I recommend going somewhere else now.
