Went to a Nordstrom spa for the first time and will never go back! I am new to the area and chose Nordstrom for a deep tissue massage and manicure because I thought it would be a safe, reliable choice to get quality service. Boy, was I wrong! Not only was it the worst overall massage of any kind I have ever had, it was also not what I booked as a deep tissue massage at all. Very weak, unskilled Swedish type massage with virtually no pressure of any kind despite my repeated requests during the massage. I came out of the massage very frustrated, disappointed and feeling worse than I did when I went in. To top it off, the massage therapist kept hounding me for answers when I told her how unhappy I was with the whole experience, told me I was “too tense” and would not leave me alone despite my repeated requests to stop discussing it. I was so upset by the poor service and attitude, compounded by the fact the manicurist was also running late, that I had to just leave the spa without even receiving the manicure. The worst spa experience I have ever had in getting massages twice a month for over 30 years!

You pay for one hour $75 and they put you 30 minutes to soak your feet and 30 minutes for the massage. The woman was way too strong. No opportunity to relax. I left a tip because I know she need it.

I would not recommend. I got a manicure here and the room was a little dirty and dusty and for the price and “Nordstrom” name I would of thought it was going to be a little more high end. I get a better manicure at my whole in the wall nail salon and better service.

I had the deep tissue massage, it was so bad I asked her to use her Elbo because I felt no pressure. Something else happened during the massage that was so bad, I’m not going to mention it, because I don’t believe anyone is going to believe me.

What is happening to Nordstrom Spa? I haven’t been there for years but it was always my favorite…now these scathing reviews??? I hope these reviews are the exception not the rule. I need to buy a gift certificate but now I’m concerned…maybe the Spa is slipping??? i hope not…it used to be fabulous

They don’t keep their appointments and are unapologetic about not doing so. Management is useless and also unbothered; clearly customer service is not their thing. I will find a different spa to spend my money at.
