Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityBrenda has done my nails for the past seven months. She is very professional and thorough. Her salon is very clean and inviting. I look forward to every appointment! She does a super awesome job and I leave her salon feeling refreshed and lookin good. Brenda does an amazing job.. I had tried other salons, but I would leave with nails that looked like a weeks worth of grow out.. I could probably go 3 weeks between fills with Brenda because she does such a good job, but I love going in every 2 weeks.. kinda want to cry if I can’t my hands are super dry.. I’m a mom, so my hands are in water a lot.. but she even goes the extra mile and does a wax treatment if I’m extra dry.. what also makes the Southern Roots Salon awesome is Brenda. She cares about helping people look good, but she also cares about people. She is very sweet. Real Gem! I took my boys today and they both got haircuts. My younger boy got his hair bleached and he absolutely loves it. Kelly did an amazing job. everyone in the shop was very friendly. It has that down home old fashioned salon feel to it. You miss out on that atmosphere in some of the salons these days. I have booked my own pamper day next week to get my hair and nails done. I highly recommend you make an appointment. We were the last clients of the day and unfortunately my battery was dead when I went to start my car. Kelly spent an extra 30 minutes with me while we jumped my car and charges the battery. Above and beyond service!

Love this place! Not only is it close and convenient but Brenda is amazing. To start with she educated me on the difference between products that can permanently damage your nails as well as how to look for these products and care for my nails. She is super creative, fun, and has so many fun ideas for when I’m there. This helps me because I’m very flexible and indecisive whenever I get my nails done. On top of that the work is quality. I spent a whole night shoving my hands into buckets of ice and opening cases of beer at an event, and my nails look just as good as when I left the salon. True quality!

Julie, or Julia, was a very nice lady, the atmosphere of the establishment was very nice, however I did not at all like my nails. I went there Wednesday, the 22nd at 10:30, and I brought my daughter with me. One hand was longer than the other hand, one nail didn’t even cover my whole nail, and they started lifting before a week had even gone by. Disappointing, will not be back. **I revised this comment as I noticed another review that had been low rated was also told they did not go to this establishment**

Kelly Lake is an excellent stylist. She is very knowledgeable about color. Most important, she listens to her customers and takes time to discuss the concept they have about how they want their hair to look. Never had a bad color, cut or style from Kelly!

I have recently taken my daughter in to get her nails done for a wedding when we came home she was looking under the acrylic and there was three gaps. She called at got them “fixed” a day after the nails started to come off and in order for them to be fixed we would have have to pay full. They were poorly done in the beginning. I will not be recommending anyone to your place.

Great place! The ladies there are awesome. I get my hair colored a hard-to-do red and Hilary does a great job. I highly recommend them. It’s an enjoyable visit every time. They also do Mani/pedi’s and waxing.
