Great first time experience. Booked an appointment request last week on a Tuesday, and got a response the next day and they were able to get me in the next day. I mentioned what I wanted and that it was first tattoo. It was awesome! Didn’t hurt at all, a slight discomfort but it wasn’t painful for me. My artist was Tony! He was easy to work with, and very patient. I’ve received so many compliments and I’d like to thank the team and most importantly Tony! Thank you! Can’t wait till my tattoo heals! Thank you guys!!!

I can’t say enough great things about my experiences here. I’ve seen Kate a couple of times now and she is the most amazing artist I’ve ever been around. Not only is she incredibly talented and her artwork so amazing, but she is very attentive and has a genuine, caring spirit and just good energy all around. She’s very easy to reach on Instagram and she always posting beautiful new flashes. She’s also so reasonably priced. I truly feel like I’m getting tattooed by a lifelong friend. Also, the shop is in a great location in town and always very clean. I’m so glad I found this place and so so glad I’ve met Kate. I will continue to come back here for years to come❤️

This place was wonderful! Like many others, I was in town for a long weekend and wanted to commemorate the end of the year with a small tattoo on my right ring finger. I put in the request last night and got a response within the hour, and the next day I was all set. Tay was so sweet and did a great job, I’d recommend her any day. Thank you for making my experience so enjoyable!

Our experience with South Lake Tattoo was amazing, starting from our communication with the shop before our appointment and our tattoo experience itself. We are visiting Tahoe and I am with a group of 3 and we were able to make an appointment and go in the next day after that. Two out of three in my group were getting their first tattoo. We had Tony as our artist and he made all of us feel very comfortable and went over what it was like getting your first tattoo! We wanted to get Luna Moths and they came out amazing. We were so happy with our experience and would come back!

My wife and I were able to get tattoos as “walk-in” customers. We were in town for a few days for our anniversary and hoped we could get souvenir tats. We went to the shop, asked if we could get a couple small ones; she put our names on a list and advised she would call us later if she had time. Kate called us a couple hours later and it was such a great experience! She was so nice, so personable and a great conversationalist! She was really professional and did such a great job!!
