I had an appointment with Deb Williams for cut, color, style. She was willing to work on a Saturday, which was much appreciated. She was very friendly, and professional and did a great job. I really enjoyed the layout of the salon as well. Deb had her own room so it was much more private and comfortable than a traditional salon. It was well worth the 2h+ drive!

Gina at CDA Hairstyles by Gina was great. I was visiting the area and stopped in unscheduled to see if there was any availability. It was around 5pm, and the person at the front wasn’t optimistic about my chances. Gina was just cleaning up for the day but said she was happy to do a walk-in (yay!). She did a great job on my haircut. She also shared great insights about the area, and I really appreciated her services and chatting with her. If I’m in town and need a haircut again, I’ll be back to see Gina for sure!

Each hair stylist has her own salon, which is a room to herself with all her supplies, sink, etc. You are not sharing a space with other customers. The room has closed glass door. My hair stylist has her mask on with gloves. She was so nice and spent lots of time on coloring my hair. Her name is Jade. Excellent service. This is my first experience with Sola Salons and the concept is just so timely during Covid times. Each hair stylist has her own salon, which is a room to herself with all her supplies, sink, etc. You are not sharing a space with other customers. The room has closed glass door. My hair stylist has her mask on with gloves. She was so nice and spent lots of time on coloring my hair. Her name is Jade. Excellent service. I don’t think I could return to a hair salon where I sit with many others in the same area again.

Great stylist and unique atmosphere. I went to Karen at Karen’s Place – suite #7. Karen was fabulous – really listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions when asked. She gave me a great cut and style, and I got a great price by taking advantage of a LivingSocial deal she was offering. I would definitely see her again. Now a little information about the setup of the “salon”, since it is nontraditional. Once you enter the Sola Salons storefront, you will find a number of independent stylists who rent individual “offices” within. Each stylist creates their own atmosphere, and each room looks like an oasis. There is no extraneous noise like in a traditional salon, and no noxious fumes from someone else getting a service/processing nearby. The only drawback is there is no receptionist, so if you drop by for a walk in appointment, you would need to check with the individual stylists to see who has availability. But, that is a minor drawback in my opinion. Try it out, I think you’ll like it.
