I went there to get a hair cut and discuss possibly getting a simple hair dye and it became really complicated and overwhelming and I felt insecure and uncomfortable by the end of it. She made me feel really bad about using box dye in the past which I never knew there was an issue with that because even my family members who have salons use box dye for themselves and see no problem with doing so. I understand it may not be the best to but I feel like people shouldn’t be shamed for doing it either. She also made me feel really bad for my hair type. I don’t really go to salons often so it gave me a negative impression of how salons are run, so I took my business somewhere else saved money and wasn’t ridiculed. Maybe I just didn’t get a good salon stylist but I would recommend checking reviews first.

I’m not a client – but I toured here to be a potential renter. My experience was pretty degrading. Steve gave me the tour and we sat down afterward to chat. The conversation was fine. Then of course he asked what services I provide. I’m a licensed cosmetologist, so before I found my niche, I basically speed dated all services. I’ve done hair, nails, lashes, facials, waxing, etc. I landed on waxing. I absolutely love it. Steve has told me that if I wanted to be successful there, that I would need to expand my services (I now own a successful business specializing in JUST waxing elsewhere). So we were brainstorming ideas of other services I could offer. My heart was only on waxing though. I remember specifically asking a question as a genuinely curious new business owner “how will I make myself stand out?”. I assume every business owner asks themselves this question when first starting out because it IS scary. His response was “See, only a person without any clientele would ever ask me that question”. I found it rude and intimidating to someone just starting out. He texted me a couple days after they saw I signed a lease somewhere else asking why and how much I was paying. Needless to say, I did not rent with them. I wasn’t going to write my review considering I toured back in March/April, but after hearing almost the identical story over 3 times from other women who toured there, I felt obligated to share my experience. It was degrading. Do not rent here.
