OMgoodness DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! I see why there are no reviews other than mine. Firstly, you can’t leave a voice mail because it’s not activated!! When Ifinally saw her to do get my hair done, I told her and she gave me some excuse why her voice mail was not active. Then, she did not have a babysitter, which wasn’t too bad but you should know just in case you want quiet. The braids sat up on my head like horns and would not lay down. They were loose after just 4 days and still won’t lay down 4 days later!! I asked her to do them short so I could put my hair in a pony tail. She didn’t figure out to make the front longer so it could reach the back.! She said she would put them in hot water to seal them and she still had to burn the ends on most to keep them from coming out. They were still coming out anyway on the ones she did not burn!! I had to leave her a text message about all of this because you cannot get through on the number listed on her website. By the way, she said she closed the ” 24 hour shop” she worked at because she could not get any help. So now she does hair at her house. I think the whole website is a fraud because I don’t believe she can do braids at the caliber shown!! Not according to what’ s on my head!! In closing, DON’T USE SONIA AT THIS BUSINESS because she does not know how to do braids, listen to your request or return phone calls or messages!! You will be sorry as I am after spending my $100.00 for short braids… I hope this helps someone!!

The experience overall was okay . She doesn’t have a baby sitter to watch her kids but that didn’t bother me as much . The one problem that bothered me was she wasn’t really using gel to make my hair slick with the braids. Usually Braiders part the hair add gel to make sure the part is clean than part the braiding an slick that too . I barely have gel on my hair . So I don’t think my hair will last . She did regular small box braids. The very first time I got my hair braided was last year and I thought she did a good job , so I decided to come back , the first time was better . She does charge 130-150$ . I went back to her because she first told me 130 but then I got there she saw the hair I had and said 150 and I told her to cut it I still had to pay 150.
