Hair done by Sahar. I debated whether or not I would leave a review, but for 200$ I was unhappy with the outcome I received today. I am not confrontational so I should have verbalized more how much I didn’t like the result, but I feel the salon also made mistakes which is why I am posting. I did a lot of research before deciding on the place and person I wanted to bleach my hair because I plan to eventually go very light with a root smudge. I called and made an appointment and told the receptionist that I was a natural level 6 and wanted to go blonde with a root smudge. I needed a Saturday appointment and wanted a specific stylist so I had a little over 2 months of wait. I called the week of my appointment to confirm the time allotted was enough for what I was asking because I know it takes many hours to go blonde and just realized they closed at 4 on Saturdays, but was assured it would be okay to be booked 2.5 hours before close. When I showed up the stylist asked what I wanted and I when I told her I wanted to go blonde she informed me that I was not booked correctly for that service and that it couldn’t be done in one visit. We went through pictures and agreed on an obtainable outcome for my unprocessed hair (included). She started with 2 sections of my baby hairs at the nape of my neck before skipping the entire back of my hair and only highlighting the top front portion of my hair. She applied the foils and sat me in a waiting area before moving me to the bowl and shampooing my hair. She asked an apprentice to complete my root smudge to make the highlight transition more smooth, and added a gloss and no toner to the mid lengths and ends of my hair. After the apprentice finished she asked a non-stylist worker to brush through my hair. I have never had such a problem brushing through my hair in my life. I could hear my hair snapping from the brush trying to rip through all the knots in my hair and immediately my stomach dropped from the feeling of massive regret. The worker told me that my hair was essentially matted and was able to complete 1/8th of my hair in 15 minutes before she was told to condition my hair and finish the wash since it was almost 4. After the wash, I went to the chair and my original stylist applied product and finished brushing my hair. I could tell when my hair was wet that it wasn’t close to what I wanted but she assured me it gets lighter once it is dry. After she blow dried my hair, I ran my hand through it and it felt very rough and the ends were continuously becoming knotted even after 2 haircuts (rough chop of about 6 inches before bleach and finishing cut after of about an inch or two). My hair reminds me of those really harsh highlights from the 90s if they had grown out a couple months, which can be a look but wasn’t what I was looking for. I can’t even put my hair in a bun to try and cover the blonde because I have chunks of really bright blonde that don’t even match the rest of my hair on the back of my head. All of the people I had contact with were extremely nice but unfortunately I can’t justify going back and would not recommend this salon for anyone planning to bleach their hair.

Sahar saved me! I went to a salon and they gave me a really bad color treatment. I had some hot spots in the back of my head.Then I went to Sahar and she gave me the hair color and cut exactly the way I wanted it! She completely fixed the yellow lines running through my head and made it look natural. 10/10 Hair coloring, Haircut

I had a great experience at Soiree. I met my stylist Suzane for the first time on this visit. She listened to me and asked pertinent questions concerning what I wanted for my color, cut, and style. She did a great job, and was able to give me the right color, highlights, and cut that that I was looking for. The salon is clean and well cared for, and the staff was friendly and professional. Lots of wonderful Aveda products to choose from too, to maintain your color and style. I would definitely recommend this salon.

Soiree is a superb full-service salon. I have been going to Soiree for three years and only have had great experiences. The receptionist Louise always greets me with a smile and offers me something to drink. Laura colors and cuts my hair and does phenomenal work… she always gives great advise on what looks best. Courtney colored and highlighted my daughter’s hair and she couldn’t have been happier… it turned out beautiful! Danielle gives the best spray tans in town and is always upbeat and friendly. Debbie the owner/manager makes sure things are always running smoothly and that customers are satisfied. The salon is always clean, well maintained, and the prices are fair. Best salon in town… Five Stars… you must give them a try!
