Writing for my 92 yr old grandmother, she went to smart style in Walmart in Greenville Tx on Dec. 7, 2022. She went in for a cut and perm. Yesterday she went to the salon and it was closed there was a customer who had an appointment waiting outside she said nobody called her to tell her they wouldn’t be there. She went into today and there was one hairdresser not sure 100% but think name was Chrisrina (when I called to complain she would not give me her name or give me customer service phone number, she kept hanging up). When my grandmother walked in it was shocking, She cut her hair of an unflattering amount it was atrocious. Also she did not even fix her hair, comb it anything after the perm. Here’s the best part (well not really when you consider she no longer has much hair). but this woman wanted to send her out after perming her hair with a wet head. My grandmother told her she was t going out with a wet head so she put her under the dryer. When she was through she didn’t even comb it. She walked in so upset she was embarrassed to even be seen anywhere. And it was shocking looking. In all her years, she’s 92 she’s gotten perms that didn’t take or bad haircuts but nothing like this, that ruined her hair til it grows back out. Not to mention lied when I called her she told me that my grandmother wanted to leave with wet hair and she wanted it cut…but my gosh a hair cut dose not constitute cutting her hair off so short there’s barely any left. Smart cuts I hope you read this and know she wouldn’t even give me info to contact you, she lies, she did the worst job ever and didn’t do it thoroughly. This woman shouldn’t be running a salon or fixing hair period. Don’t go! Run!

I have had my hair cut here one time before a long time ago and they made such a mess of it I never went back, but my mom had told me that there were new stylist in there so I made an appointment with Alisa, she highlighted and cut my hair, she did a wonderful job. The only thing I saw that was a negative issue was a lot of people came in to ask for cuts and they had to be turned away because there were no other stylist, and the schedules for the other stylist coming in would not help the situation either due to most of them had appointments scheduled once they got there.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityYesterday I got my hair cut and colored. Never again! My hair was long (almost halfway down my back) virgin untouched hair. I haven’t gotten my hair done in years. I don’t even put heat on it. I brought a picture of what I wanted so there couldn’t be any misunderstanding. This woman RUINED my hair. She over processed it , the bottom half was so damaged and dry. The placement of her foils was awful, the color was wrong. I got so upset and started talking to her about why I didn’t like it but all she did was insist that she gave me what I asked for. And then charged me 80 dollars for it! I called today to make a complaint. Turns out she’s a manager. I left crying and unsatisfied. Appt. For Highlights and cut and style. The stylist was inexperienced, did not shampoo hair after foil removal! The blow dry took forever!! She dried strands individually until dry not an overall blowing, so it took forever! Will Not return here.!

I went on a Monday with my 3 yo kid. Our hair cuts turned out ok, but it was odd our receipt shows “Adult Shampoo and Cut” and “Kid Shampoo and cut” (15.50 and 10.95) but neither of us got shampooed or washed. The stylist was grumpy as heck and didn’t even bother to sweep or blow off the cut hair when she was finished. (Samantha) If you don’t mind average haircuts and lack of courtesy, there you go. The price was low and service was quick. There’s no wait (I wonder why). If you expect more, you will have to try the other shops in town (plenty of competition).
