Asked for a simple haircut. The back was not even straight. My husband had to fix it for me. Hope was very nice but not happy with my haircut. The pics with the flower shirt is the before and the one with pink if the after. My husband did a great job fixing the back of my hair.

EDIT: Just wanted to say I changed this review because they made it right. The owner Michelle had a young talented lady Ally at the Owosso location fixed my hair free of charge. I could not be happier especially considering what she had to work with!

Got foil highlights and a trim, it took probably about 3 hours and when the hair stylist was done I had spots and patches several places, from the dye. The hair stylist asked me what I thought and I questioned the patches and spots and the hair stylist said there was nothing they could do about it, and that I would have to schedule another appointment in a few weeks/months. Another hair stylist came over and said she thought it looked nice (?)My hair was so poorly done I couldn’t wear my hair up at all and I had to choose where to split my hair very carefully so the patches weren’t so noticeable. I had to pay full price and I was never offered a discount and they told me that if I wanted to come back and get it fixed I had to pay full price.

Zero stars for me. I paid 120$ for a balayage hair color and a trim. I ended up with a full head bleach besides my roots and a messed up haircut. I now have been waiting a week for a phone call to recieve my refund and have yet to hear anything back. I do not think they should have under qualified staff working there let alone the fact that the one that did my hair was the supervisor!? Makes no sense to me. Ive been to smart styles in the past that have never messed up my hair but this location is a mess. Ive been patient and calm and now im just getting madder by the day waiting for my refund. Now i have to get my hair re done by a different salon once my refund is given to me.

I went in with my boyfriend on 12/13/18 between 3:00-3:300ish…he asked for her to cut it finger length, she didn’t know what that meant, so we elaborated for her, we specifically said only cut about two inches, she did a lot more than that, after the fact, it was uneven hairs were longer in places and short in others, she assumed she was done so I had to tell her to make it even or he wouldn’t be happy this is an important hair cut, her version of making it “even” was cutting all of his hair off. We called and complained to one of the stylists , (we had been on a tight schedule and on the way out of state for a few days) and were told we would receive a call back the next day. Two days later— still no call back, so I called them…they told me they’d have their manager get back with me in about an hour. I received no call back, absolute horrible customer service. That was today on 12-15-18… Kayla cut was the one who cut his hair. VERY disappointed.

If you are anything like myself, you are very particular about the way you like your hair cut. I used to be a die-hard Sports Clips fan, but there are not Sports Clips locations anywhere near the Grand Blanc area. Because of this, I was VERY NERVOUS about getting my haircut done at a place that had no online reviews and that was also a place I wasn’t familiar with.
