Beyond awful place…the two best stylists, Olivia and Teya recently left. That really tells you something if two of their workers leave at the same time. I walked in the other day and got really bad vibes from the place, and its definitely not what it used to be. I wouldn’t bother getting your hair done there, go somewhere that treats their workers better.

I’ve been going to the stylist named Olivia for many years now. She’s so good! She now cuts my entire family’s hair; husband, son and daughter, including myself! I used to color as well and she was spot on with what I wanted. Now that I’m going natural gray, she’s helped me with products to help my natural gray look as best as possible. I’m so happy with my stylist! (She’s moved to a different Salon in the Glenbrook Mall.)

Beyond disappointed and upset. – Olivia at Maysville was a delight! However, my expectations for receiving a perm with light curls,,,failed badly!!!! I have barely a mushy wave. And there are sections that did the opposite; making my hair stick straight! And the light trim given left me with a section on the left side with a blunt cut and stick straight with zero wave!! Crushed to pieces over this! Quite frankly cried and embarrassed to be seen. $100.00 completely in the trash!! I called and talked to Olivia and got the “ I told you so” speech. Like getting a bad perm was my fault. Yes, I had small areas from a long ago high lite, but still, the perm should never had been this bad!!!! So incredibly hurt and disappointed. Never again. I want my money back so badly. But the salon will not do this for me!! I feel like I have to pay now; going to another salon, to have my hair cut real short now just to be seen and start over. Olivia is kind , but I am so upset over the expensive outcome. ( May 14th/2022)

Girl at counter was sitting with another lady I asked for a hair cut the response I got was I have appointments coming in so then I asked her what if her appointment doesn’t show up and she says that’s just too bad so you know I’ve been going to the salon for years and to have a lady give me an attitude like that I guess I will never return again I will find somewhere better to go I live too far away to sit here and have an attitude like that with me so thank you for the past experience with the younger girls that were there the lady that was at the counter today she was very rude and I will never return.

Teya, at SmartStyles on Maysville; is the best person to go to for anything hair related. I have had such an amazing experience over the years that I have had her do my hair.
