So I’ve been wanting fillers for while now and I was referred to Marquita by my current esthetician. So this was my first visit with Marquita at SKIN +IVY Wellness Spa and let me tell youuuuu… She made me feel as though I’ve been her client for years! Marquita makes you feel so comfortable in addition to you being able to tell that she’s confident and knowledgeable in her work. My experience was nothing short of professional. Ok now to the actual injections. First, you fill out a consent form that gives you information about the procedure. Next, Marquita sits with you and addresses any concerns, questions or reservations. To begin the procedure, she begins by cleaning your lips then numbing the lip area while she prepped for the rest of the process. Once the numbing cream is wiped off she checks to ask how you are feeling then begins the magic. The needle is very small (yep! She showed it to me but she gives you the option so if you’re somebody who doesn’t like looking at needles then she caters to you as well) so yeah the needle is tiny and each stick feels like a little pinch, very tolerable (Cupid bow area is a little more than a pinch but not too bad). After filling both top and bottom lip going following in the motion of your lip line, she massages them into place. Then walah! You walking out of her office feeling fine as hell and pain free. I would definitely recommend coming to see Marquita if you are someone who wants injections but have been hesitant to get them! Thank you Marquita for making my first experience amazing & I will be back

Ahhhh-mazing! Facility is clean with friendly staff! Macie is truly one in a million! Professional, knowledgeable and cares about her clients. After a 2 month “hiatus” of not being waxed by her, my skin was definitely mad at me, but Macie fixed me back up and already noticeable improvements to my skin just after one visit.
