I have been treating my skin to everything that Skin Alive has to offer for years. Gail and all her wonderful students have taken very good care of my skin. I give them a 5 star rating! You have a choice, go to a student there and save money and still get a 5 star experience or see Gail and get the best 5 star experience. Either way your skin will thank you! I’ve always been treated very very well by the staff and students. Plus I absolutely love the products they sell and use.

Gail is a miracle worker when it comes to skin! I’ve had problems with acne all my adult life, and she completely cleared my skin up before my wedding 20 years ago, and she’s doing it again for me, now. I wish I had taken a before photo – the healing was so fast! She is genuinely caring about people and helping them to look and feel their best. She also runs a school to become an esthetician, and you can get services done cheaper by letting students practice on you.

I love Skin Alive. I have been to different spas, and this is my favorite. Gail is an expert in her field. If you want a regular skin program or a pick me up when you are feeling down in the dumps, this is the place to go. The dermabrasions and facials are great. The spa has a very peaceful, serene atmosphere – quite beautiful. Also, top-quality products, with discounts available.

Gail is super knowledgeable about skin care; her students are lucky to have such an amazing teacher! I started going here two years ago after looking for a place that sold the CE Ferulic Skinceutical product. Gail told me all about the Skinceutical product line and what would work best for my skin. Two years later I am using several products, as well as, getting regular microdermabrasions and facials from her students. I feel my skin looks great and has never been healthier! When I arrive for services, I am always greeted and welcomed into their beautiful spa and feel I have received great service from each student I have met. I have signed up for the emails from Skin Alive and enjoy the discounts, new products and services that they continue to offer. I feel this spa stays current with all of the new products and services offered in the beauty industry. I LOVE the Colorescience makeup line that they offer, especially the convenient sunscreen powder! Keep up the great work, Gail! Love your school and spa!

I definitely recommend anyone I know to go to Skin Alive. The owner/teacher knows the ins and outs of the skin care industry and I have complete faith in everything she tells me. The Students show great interest and seem very eager to learn and help. I had a facial done and yes, students would ask each other questions, but thats because they’re STUDENTS. They’re learning and I understood so. Besides going in and out of the rooms, they didn’t do anything else to bother me. My skin was treated with care and I had everything explained to me. They were all very nice and respectful. I’ve seen results in my skin since I’ve been there and have recommended the place to many of my friends and family. The atomosphere is very professional and I was handed a cup of water and a brochure after my treatment. I think the service is excellent for the price that I paid!

I am thrilled to have found the Mequon Thiensville school of Esthetics for all my skin care needs. They have beautiful, private rooms and highly trained students! I have seen great results with my skin after microdermabrasion & regular facials. My esthetician recommended home care products that have helped reduce years of previous sun damage. The prices are very affordable and they have great monthly specials. I would definitely recommend this spa to everyone!!

If I could give a negative number, I would. I have not had a good experience coming here at all. I have facial hair and had a groupon for 6 laser hair removal treatments. I have one more to go and I have not seen any improvement and neither has my finance. I will never go back to Skin Alive nor would I recommend anyone to go there. The first 4 times, she did not get all of the hair on my face nor did she get my upper lip. she only did that when my fiance came into the room with me. Do not ever go here. I’ve been having the same issue with the phone as well. They need to get an answering machine or have a true receptionist who answers the phone.

Gail and her students are amazing. If anyone remembers being in school, being put into a new career and the learning lessons; well, I truly believe the girls are genuine and that Gail is a great teacher. After suffering for years from annoying and continual adult acne, I wanted to seek other options. The microdermabrasion has worked beautifully for me as well as so many others (a friend referred me to Gail, but now I see the students). The expert knowledge I’ve been given regarding skin care products has made my skin’s radiance blossom. After going in for my 1st treatment, then for my 3rd, then my 6th, 7th free!… it is obvious that micro visibly improved my skin and I will always go here to keep my skin glowing. Everything takes patience and can be expensive, at Skin Alive you can see any student or request someone; for the prices you pay, I am thankful!. They are all truly amazing and believe in the results and I believe with time comes the experience. The School/Spa is beautiful and extremely clean. They offer all sorts of services (facials, laser hair removal, micro, pharmaceutical-grade products). Skin Alive/Mequon Thiensville School of Esthetics is great if you have a problem to fix (like me), or just want to pamper yourself. Experience it for yourself!

Being a male I do feel uncomfortable going into salons to get treatments, this place was my exception and the reason I keep coming back. The ladies here are warm, welcoming, and professional. All the students that have worked on me have extensive knowledge on skincare and have helped me maintain perfect skin.
