Women of color desire not only the latest styles and hair trends but beautiful healthy hair. Both of these goals can be achieved by open communication between the stylist and client and using quality professional hair products such as Design Essentials. When you visit Rochelle, you will almost always have a one-on-one session where I promise to listen to all your concerns and form a relationship with not only you but your hair, as well.

I took my daughter there today and usually my daughter’s hair looks so professiona, but today her hair was so messed up. She got a wash, cut, blow dry and flat iron for $85.00 and came out looking so dry and frizzy to me that’s the purpose of getting it flat iron so it can look straight and nice. A waste of my $85.00.

I arrived at my hair appointment a few minutes late and was met at the door and told to wait in my car after I got dropped off in a Uber in the rain. I walked to a nearby store and waited about 10 to be called in just to sit at the bowl with a tight cape on around my next for at least 40 minutes. She cut my hair so short when she wasn’t able to do the style I asked for there was literally nothing I could do because all my hair gone. After Rochelle not being able to do the style I showed her a picture of she had me sitting for hours just to give me a ugly hair style she wouldn’t wear herself. I’m so disappointed, I cried in the salon and after wards. $110 down the drain, I look a mess. I got there at 2:10 and left well after 8pm. I’m not happy with anything but the color.

It was my first time in the salon and I wanted something refreshing for my hair. I had Rochelle she did an amazing job on my hair. The salon really listens to what you want to get done and they really treat you like family. I’m definitely coming back this salon is my favorite new spot.

Critical: ValueThis hair salon had nice people and the place was nice, but I had a huge problem the way that they handled my hair. I have 4c hair so you have to be gentle with it. The hairstylist and the shampoo bowl person was so rough with combing out my hair. It was like they were really ripping my hair out from my scalp! It hurt that bad. My scalp was hurting days after. Same when they was blowing out my hair, they didn’t pre comb it gentle. Just went through my hair with it tangled. My hair is perfect thanks to Rochelle and I will be going back again and again whenever I need too.
