Referred by our Primary Physician to remove a small cyst from our 12 year olds temple. Originally our appointment was 5 months out but I called to see if they could get her in early due to loss of insurance. We went in and were immediately told they probably couldn’t do it because it was on the face. It seems that could have been concluded at the point I made an appointment. Get to pay for an office visit for absolutely nothing.

Just got a call canceling the appointment in January 2023 because the doctor has “a lot of time off in 2023.” Next available appointment, May 2023. Frustrated at the process of trying to get a medication approved through my insurance. One would think with having a “Coordinator”, that I wouldn’t have to play the liaison between the insurance company and the providers office. I’ve worked for both an insurance company and a providers office in the past (so I know the overall process), but I feel sorry for any individual going here that doesn’t have my kind of background. They’d be left to their own devices, and be forced to put blind trust into somewhere that doesn’t hold their best interest. I’m not getting paid to do all the footwork, which should be completed behind the scenes by the dermatologist office. I would have given 1 star if it weren’t for the fact that I actually really like my dermatologist.
