I started going to shear paradise a few months ago only for eye lash tinting. I immediately liked the down to earth, women little beauty parlor. My eye lash tints are always perfect thanks to Barbara. As I was recently hanging out with a friend I was amazed by the color of her hair.. such subtle and very natural highlights! Obviously I asked her who did this for her and she said “ her name is Loretta @shear paradise in key largo . I then told her that’s were I was going for my eye lashes.. but never really paid attention to what was going on in the hair salon. Eye lash tint is always a 15 mins visit with closed eyes-:) !

The lady that cut my hair (I believe her name is Margie)didn’t listen to my instructions. I asked to keep my lengths and to do a trim to keep it healthy, along with some light layers and framing around my face. I ended up with a short shelf of hair around my face and 5 inches of the ends of my hair. It could not be further from what I wanted. At the beginning we had agreed of 2 1/2 of the ends but she removed 5. I am completely devastated and will never in a million years ever go back

She tells me if something will not look good on me and I very much value that opinion. I have always loved the atmosphere of that shop; It is always reminded me of Truvy’s shop in Steel Magnolias.

I have been going to Margie for a couple of years after I had a terrible experience in fort Lauderdale. She fix d up my cut which is difficult as I have long wavy hair. I trust her explicitly, she gets to know your life style so your hair fits your personality and is easy to maintain.

Over the years I’ve asked her for all-over color changes, highlights, ombre, wedding hair, a long bob—I’m always happy with the end result. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI got the absolute worst haircut of my life at this establishment. Even after I pointed out the obvious problems and she “fixed” them it was still horrible. She didn’t see anything wrong and charged me $35. It was so bad that 2 days later I had to go to another place to have them try to salvage my hair as best they could.
