Shear Bliss salon is a great salon with great service. Vanessa is the owner and she really knows how to take care of our hair. I travel all the way from South Carolina to visit her. She takes care of me and my daughters hair. I wish I could take her back home with me. I highly recommend this salon!

This was a strange experience for me. I did not get my hair done or anything that is semi permanent but I did get a mani pedi. I made the apt for 12 and I was not in the chair until 1220. When I came in it was just me in a room with two spa chairs. The bath was foamy but barley any water. I stuck my feet in and the only two words she said to me the entire 2 hours was pick your color and what type of payment are you using. She was not very friend (but not really rude either). She messed up the paint on my toes really bad so she had to spend at least 5 mins cleaning it up with remover. On to the manicure, I got gel. She cut my cuticles all the way down and it was NOT pleasant. She was cutting deep and even left some stray little pieces. She left streak marks on the gel and almost holes between my cuticle and the polish. Another thing to mention is the cleanliness. She used old and used towels to wipe my legs and hands off. I do not think she sterilizes her tools as I did not see the blue little packs or any machine to do so (Could be wrong about that tho). When I finally went to pay I could not believe the price. 80 dollars for that. What a waste of money. I will not return and do not recommend it.

I want to say Thank you to all employees at Sheer Bliss Salon and Day Spa. Multicultural atmosphere which I love. My girlfriend Wendy got her hair done for my wedding by Denise she looked beautiful!! The atmosphere is open and full of outdoor light giving me a warm welcome. I had my hair dyed and styled, manicure and pedicure. Special shout out to Marie and Vanessa! Being picky plus all natural she was gentle didn’t rush. My hair was laid hunntyyy!! I got my nails and feet done WOW!! I’ve been a Nurse for 13 years and Marie’s cleanliness was on point she could set up a sterile surgical table!! Get it!! Love her technique, takes her time it’s like each finger and toe got some love! Very pleasant conversation and she wasn’t loud or asking a lot of questions she let me set the tone for the conversation very respectful. My nails were EPIC as my husband would say. Clean and neat. My color was popping. I’m definitely going back wouldn’t miss an appointment. Highly recommend this Spa.

After an unpleasant experience at another nail salon, I decided to give this spot a try, and oh boy, I am so glad I did! Marie is awesome! I loved the personal touch that she gave ME while doing my nails. First and foremost, my appointment started on time. Secondly, Marie did NOT use a drill to file and buff my nails; Marie filed and buffed my nails by hand, which I absolutely loved. She took her time, and she showed great care when filing, buffing and polishing my nails. The most important part about my experience was that I did not feel rushed at all. I didn’t feel like Marie was trying to hurry up and finish my nails so that she could move on to her next client. Marie was thorough and precise, and cleanliness of her work station and tools was never a concern for me. It was a comfortable, warm and relaxing atmosphere; after a long stressful day at work, I felt like I could kick back and relax a little bit. Our conversation was light, but we shared a few laughs about general topics. I highly recommend that you entrust Marie with caring for your nails. You won’t be disappointed!

Marie has such a calming spirit I’m always been able to talk to her while getting a manicure or pedicure. Being a nurse it is always clean, warm comfortable atmosphere. And now with Covid-19 everyone wears a mask.

Frustrating experience. Called to book a spa package. The lady that picked up said receptionist had stepped out and that they would call back. They did call but when I asked questions about the spa package, she couldn’t really answer my questions and didn’t really seem to know the details. She indicated price of the package was $15 more than what the website indicated and the website hadn’t been updated yet, they honored the original price. Booked it. They called the next day to cancel the appointment because scheduling system was messed up and now they couldn’t get me in until April.

Vanessa was awesome! Previously I’ve walked out of places with the ” too short, too crooked”, etc. haircut. This was perfect. I’ve gotten many compliments. The price was right and you felt really comfortable being there because the staff is nice.

I had a few incidents with the salon during the 5 months I had been coming here for a waxing. First off, one time I arrived early and I heard another employee telling the wax specialist Jen that her other client was coming in very soon. I was confused because I had booked a month in advance for a half hour and had been established here for a couple months. I was told that this client called the same day and managed to squeeze in between two already set appointments because she was a regular customer and needed a wax in a pinch. The entire experience that day was very rushed to fit in someone who didn’t book in advance so my appointment time was cut in half to accommodate someone else. The wax job that day was sloppy and there were several spots that were missed due to the speed in which everything was done. I went home feeling snubbed, covered in wax and upset that I had to shave my legs right after I got them done.
