Positive: ProfessionalismI wanted change. I wanted professionalism. I went from dark colored hair to lighter colored hair. I love my new hair color and hair cut. Everyone was nice and professional. And mostly I really appreciated the honestly. The many hours and $ paid was completely worth it. I will bring my mother soon.

The worst ever haircut for my 9yo son! I don’t know the hairdresser’s name, but the damage was done by the tall, bold man, around his 50yo. Usually he works in the chair by the window! At the end I was scared he is going to punch me. I destroyed my son’s hairstyle, I asked particular stile, showed the picture and it was obvious he is doing what ever he wanted to do, I asked to fix right away. He got angry and made it even worse! And he said it’s my son’s fault because it’s the way his hair grows!!! He charged $32 for the child haircut even the official price on the website $25 for kids!!! After we came back home and I washed my son’s hair (I still had a hope after washing its gonna be ok, but unfortunately it was soo ugly, so we returned and asked for a refund, he was super angry, cursing at me in front of my son, and returned only $30, but not $32 as I paid!!! I finally fixed this ugly cut he did today and the first question another hairdresser asked was – was it done by the student in the hairdressers school? After I said it was done by supposed to be a professional and it costs me $32 he almost fainted! So, never-ever again, I attached pictures I took in different days, same terrible haircut, I am glad we were able to fix it, but emotional damage we got probably will last longer!

I had such an amazing experience at Shay’s Place. I had a cut, wash, and blow, and my stylist Ida took such great care of my hair! She was so precise and made sure until the very end that my hair was perfect. It was such a scary transition to go from super long curly hair (that I’ve had for 8 years!) to a short layered bob, but Ida made the whole process easy and comfortable. She took me in right away and the prices are reasonable as well! Great experience! Recommended my mom too and I’ll definitely be going back to see her again!

I have been going to Shays for about 4 years now, and it never disappoints. My stylist is Alexandra and I love her work. Professional and honest and I always leave extremely satisfied with my haircut. I have very straight hair with no natural volume and always leave with beautiful layers that add nice dimension. They also accommodate last minute appointments which is also a plus.

I discovered Shay’s after years of going to barbershops that couldn’t quite get my hair right. I have several cowlicks that can make my hair unruly at times. I decided to give Shay’s a try. Shay himself cuts my hair, and is such a great stylist that he helped me to grow parts my hair out properly that previous barbers used to shave unnecessarily. This used to make it extra hard for me to style properly. Now that I’ve been going to Shay for a while, my hair looks better than ever. He has made several recommendations that have helped me become very happy with my look . I always trust him to cut my hair perfectly, I even had him cut my hair and trim my beard before my wedding day! The salon itself is very clean and comfortable. The staff is always attentive and friendly as well, always offering water or coffee and taking great care when washing my hair. From now on, no one touches my hair but Shay!

The owner is also very friendly he made me the appointment on short notice and they were very understanding about me being late. Haircut great great wash and blow out. $73 price.a little high for me as a senior on fixed income, but I know haircut rates are moving up like everything else. Nice atmosphere. You feel pampered. On first entrance I thought maybe for young modern people, but good for me too. A wonderful experience!
