I’m a long time customer who had a problem with services for the first time. I love my regular stylist and feel sad that I will no longer be a client due to the manner in which my concern was handled by the front desk and management. My phone records support that I called to discuss this issue seven times in one day and was placed on hold for extended periods each time. It was very obvious that the reception staff was hoping that I gave up on waiting and just went away. A manager finally called, left a message and received incorrect info from the staff. I called back immediately and she was no longer available to speak. Bad support, unprofessional client service practices. Owner did nothing but tried to blame me. I will sadly never return to this salon and cannot recommend it to anyone else either. Posting a photo of the bald spots on my scalp. There are about 20 of them. if anyone would like to see how my hair started out, please contact me.

I had a terrible cramp in my neck and by some miracle there was a cancellation and I was able to get an appointment that very day I called. Talk about amazing ambiance! The whole spa is so luxurious and elegant looking. Immediately I felt calmer and more collected just by being there. My massage therapist was wonderfully professional and listened to me and my concerns. She gave a great massage on a heated table with the softest bed coverings and leg props. Calming water sounds played and the lighting was perfectly dim and calming. I have not had such a decadent massage in a very long time, maybe ever! Highly recommend.

I had a massage with Laura this visit. She was knowledgeable, professional, incredibly nice and really listened to me when it came to discussing some issues I have been experiencing in my neck and shoulders. I’ve had deep tissue massages in the past that were awful. Laura literally gave me the best massage I have ever had! I will definitely be going back to see her! Serenity closes at 5pm and I was leaving the lounge at 5pm to change and leave. I stopped to look at jewelry on the way out and the girls at the front desk were wonderful at letting me look and not rushing me out the door. I only needed a few minutes and their patience didn’t go unnoticed. Highly recommend Serenity.

Very nice spa. There are lockers for your things and robes to wear. They even have a little “quiet room” /waiting for you to relax in and drink water and listen to soothing music while you wait to receive your treatment. The massage therapists are excellent and really want you to get the most out of your experience.

First off, I want to say that the 3 stylists, I’ve gone to within the last year at Serenity have all been Amazing and have their own styles of cutting hair but today I had my hair done by Diamond.. If you are like me and need an edgy fun new cut or tired of the same ole same ole.. She is Absolutely Great!!!! I live in the bayarea and currently in Chesterton caring for my father so all I needed to do was show Diamond some past hair pics of myself and then having a conversation in what my ideal look would be she knew Exactly what to do! I am Very pleased with my new fun look and especially the blunt cut bangs! Diamond is going to go far in her career!

I got my hair and makeup done here for a wedding, along with the bride. The makeup looked fine—the eyeshadow looked a bit muddy, but was acceptable. The moment I walked outside and caught a gust of wind, one of the false lashes blew off. That shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but no big deal, so I went back in and had it re-glued. My eyeshadow was massively creased by the time the ceremony started 2 hours later. Over the course of the wedding day, I was constantly battling black balls of eyelash glue they kept creeping up my eyelids and leaving black streaks as they traveled. My eyelids were literally sticking together because of the glue issue. Oh, and the false lashes fell off again by mid-reception.

Best area spa. If you want to feel like you are on vacation at a high end, lux spa, this place is for you! The staff was very professional and courteous and the spa itself was clean and inviting. The massage I received was one of the best I’ve ever had! My masseuse was experienced and made my experience one I will be returning for! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
