Critical: QualityI stopped in on a Sunday for a pedicure with my Mother. It’s one of the only places open on a Sunday. The pedicure was rushed, they did not push back my cuticles, and no hot towels. No leg massage either. The polish was applied so poorly and very sloppy. The second coat was not applied over the entire first coat, so there were uneven lines when it dried. They gave us a $5 off coupon for next time, and I gave it to a customer as I was leaving. I wouldn’t return again. I stopped in on a Sunday for a pedicure with my Mother. It’s one of the only places open on a Sunday. The pedicure was rushed, they did not push back my cuticles, and no hot towels. No leg massage either. The polish was applied so poorly and very sloppy. The second coat was not applied over the entire first coat, so there were uneven lines when it dried. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI was with a group a friends getting our nails done today and it was literally the worst mail experience of my life. I checked the reviews on Google and saw they had a very low rating but we were in the area and wanted to give them a chance since everyone has different experiences and opinions. Well let me just tell you, listen to to the reviews. I had to get my nails soaked off and my hands sat in a bowl of acetone for about 40 minutes. Usually…you just get your nails put in the foil. My hands feel absolutely disgusting and my gel manicure looks awful. There is polish all over my fingers and on my cuticles. I have too coat cured to my fingers, don’t ask how that even happened because I don’t know. My friend wasn’t pleased with her nails because they were not what she asked for so she wanted them soaked off because she didn’t want to sit through another service of getting them fixed so she just asked for them to be soaked off. Meanwhile they were talking about us clearly. She asked after they were soaked if he could clean up the nail so they weren’t rough, he said “no I’ve done enough I don’t care what your nails look like” then all of a sudden we had all the workers yelling at us, saying we were disrespectful. The guy that did my friends nails put his hand in my face and told me to “stop talking” to him. They said we weren’t welcome in there anymore. Oh and also, they cut a chunk out of my other friends finger mistaking it for a cuticle….. I was with a group a friends getting our nails done today and it was literally the worst mail experience of my life. I checked the reviews on Google and saw they had a very low rating but we were in the area and wanted to give them a chance since everyone has different experiences and opinions. I’ve been going here for two years, and after today I will never be going back. It started out okay, it was a bit busy. Our appt was for 4 and got sat around 4:30pm for pedicures and manicures. Mind you, before I got sat a lady (not the one who did my actual nails) asked me if I wanted gel or regular. I said regular, basic Pedi and Mani as I never get gel. I got to go first, and my aunt had to wait another 25 min soaking. Our pedicures were UNBELIEVABLY rushed, I didn’t get to enjoy it at all. Pedicures are my favorite part about coming to a nail salon. Then I got sat for Mani, which was fine. No problem there. When we both finished, we paid and went over the bill as we dried. My bill was a lot higher than my aunt’s, when we both got the same thing. She proceeded to tell me it’s because I had gel, so I tried to explain that I didn’t ask for gel. The lady then snapped at me, and told me to sit down so she can take it off and put regular on. I said no, because we already paid and I wasn’t looking to stay even longer after we just waiting so long to get seated. Regardless, I didn’t ask for gel, even those she insisted I did. So then without letting me get another word out, she said she’s calling the cops. She sat back down, got on the phone and glared at me. Calling the cops for what? I was civil, and honestly just curious over my portion of the bill and the fact that I never asked for gel. Plus we already paid so it’s not like we are leaving without paying. Needless to say, what was supposed to be a pleasant time with my aunt, turned into the worst experience I think I’ve ever encountered at a nail salon. I highly advise picking another place with better customer service.
