This was a great salon and is near where I live so easy to get to. I enjoyed actually feeling like someone was able to communicate with me and I didn’t feel like I was in an assembly line.

Positive: Professionalism, QualityAlexis is amazing! I am from out of town and had originally booked an appointment at another salon. After waiting 20 minutes with little acknowledgement, I left that salon. My engagement pictures were the next day and they were able to get me in the morning of my pictures. Alexis was so patient in helping me pick a color. I also appreciate how much time she took with shaping my nails and applying the polish up to the cuticle. Will definitely be back!Service: Gel manicuresAlexis is amazing! I am from out of town and had originally booked an appointment at another salon. The place is ADORABLE! Smells amazing too. The manicure station wasn’t thought out well. It is so uncomfortable to get your nails done. I had to keep stretching my arms all the way to my nail tech. I was the only guest during my appointment. The nail tech was far from friendly. I dont need to chit chat, but I also dont want to get my nails done by someone that is acting like she’d rather be anywhere else. She insisted I get my manicure first which makes no sense. Everyone knows pedicure first, to give them time to fully dry, before a manicure (especially a gel mani). Same woman gave me a pedicure. She didn’t put my sandals on before she painted my toe nails. “This is how we do it.” Then she asked if my pinky toes show when my sandals are on. I was like Im not sure (hence why you should have put them on before painting them.) Then she grabs my sandals after she’s done painting them and says “dont look at me or your toes as I put them on. Look anywhere else.” I’m from NYC. I’ve dealt with attitudes my whole life, this woman was next level. For a $45 gel mani and $35 pedicure it was not worth it with that woman’s attitude. They need to retrain their staff, redo the manicure station, and work on their nail filing. She filed so aggressively that she filed my skin and left a cut.

Had a great pedicure and gel manicure by Alexis. No chemical smells and wonderful space. I’ll be a retailer now. Thank you!

I wish every pedicure experience was as luxurious and fabulous as the one I had at Sea Salt & Sugar. The staff is super friendly, yet very professional and everything they use is either natural or a more environmentally friendly version of the standards. ALL of their polishes are 7-free, which I don’t know much about but appreciate that it’s better for me and/or the environment. Because the salon is free-focused, they won’t apply a personal polish unless it’s also 7-free, but they do have a good selection of polish on hand. The space is like something out of Joanna Gaines’ look book – aka phenomenal, but the lighting of the “polish box” could use an upgrade: I’m in my 30s yet still had to use a phone flashlight to see the color options. But that is really the only “flaw” of this fantastic shop. They have at least 6 or 7 pedi and mani stations, and could easily accommodate a group of girls, who would thank you for taking them here. Go! You’re welcome ; )

Super cute place. I really enjoy the services and the natural products, but finding available appointments is becoming increasingly difficult. Recently my appointment was canceled by phone with no offer to rebook; they said the technician went home sick. I found it to be very abrupt – the front desk could use a little fine-tuning. We definitely need more eco nail salons like this.

Emily was wonderful, salon was very clean and pleasant. Manicure Chairs a bit uncomfortable on the knees but pedicure Chairs made up for it. Loved the aesthetics of decor!

This salon is owned by a couple of medical professionals and is, hands down, the cleanest, most natural, and most ethical salon I have ever been to. Health over productivity—what a concept! I knocked a star off because the chairs are uncomfortable (I’m a tad bit handicapable) and the techs look quite uncomfortable in their chairs as well. I think the designer went for “pretty” instead of practical. Appointments are typically booked several weeks out—plan accordingly.
