Today, there was no wait at all. Almost an old school barber shop that is frequented by a lot of people. Some patrons wait for a specific barber, others will take whatever chair opens up next. Haven’t had a bad cut there yet, military and 1st responder discount, all are nice people.

Sal’s is hands down my favorite barber shop. I’ve gotten a cut from almost all of the barbers there and I was never disappointed. Sometimes you have to wait especially if you go there after 3 but that’s the case at almost all barber shops. If you’re in the Chili/Gates area you should definitely give them a visit. I have had Robbie and Steve both do my hair, and beard… and they are excellent. All the other men/women there are very nice and talented people. I have seen everyone there do cuts/styles/”clean people up” while waiting… I have yet to see anything I would not recommend to others. Go prices, walking in is the only way (with 90% of the people cutting), but waits are rarely longer than maybe 30 mins.
