Critical: QualityI usually go to a different hair stylist but her schedule clashes with mine so it’s hard for me to get an appointment with her so I tried Salon Zurrel since they are open on my day off. I had asked for full highlights in platinum blonde which had been done lots of times previously by my usual stylist. The staff seemed friendly and the salon seemed clean and organized, but I ended up not being happy with the results. Usually with my other stylist I got compliments on how amazing my hair looks but after getting my hair done at Salon Zurrel people kept telling me that it doesn’t look great. While I was getting the highlights done the smell of the chemicals was overwhelming which it never smelt so strong when I usually get highlights. I could feel it tingling which is also something that I never experienced getting highlights. And when my hair was being blow dried he had the hair dryer so hot there was smoke coming off my head. I was worried since my hair is very thin and fragile which I had told to the stylist. My hair was very damaged after going to Salon Zurrel and I had to nurse it back to health. Also the results did not look like highlights. I couldn’t even see much of my natural hair color it looked like he just dyed my whole head. Unfortunately since I was not happy with the results and it damaged my hair pretty badly I will not return.
