I’ve been coming to Salon Zen for several months now. Brittany has been doing my hair for years, and she is amazing! I always love coming to have my hair done by her because it’s like meeting up with a good friend while getting beautified. She is always very meticulous about asking questions and understanding exactly what I want done to my hair, and when I’m not even sure, she has great suggestions! During my most recent appointment, Brittany cut off several inches of my hair so we could donate it to Wigs for Kids. I really wanted to donate it, and Brittany had even done the research to find out what organization would take my donation since my hair is colored. After cutting it, she colored it a beautiful violet-red, like I asked, and then blow-dried it and curled it. It looked beautiful! I also had my eyebrows waxed by Cova, who was very friendly and did a great job. All of the staff at Salon Zen are wonderful and so nice, and the salon itself is lovely, too. I highly recommend Salon Zen for anyone who is looking!!

She is proficient and very aware of how to take care of my hair. I love the salon, it is calming and they have amazing bonus beverages and snacks while you process. I have been going to Brittany for about 3 years now and she never disappoints! I always leave feeling like a million bucks! The salon environment is very friendly and relaxed. They always have refreshments available for their clients as well. They also have the best shampoo chairs that don’t hurt your neck or add any strain. At first entry you are greeted by friendly faces, a relaxing ambience in a very tastefully decorated salon. The staff is always quick to offer a beverage ranging from a selection of hot teas to wine. Prior to my haircut I was led to the most comfortable shampoo stations for a relaxing shampoo. Suzanne has cut my hair for 13 years and never disappoints. The close knit staff, led by co-owners Danni and Suzanne, are seasoned professionals while seeming more like a family. I’ve even enjoyed a pedicure with Natalie who offers great nail services with her unique “Southern Charm”. If you’re looking for an upscale salon with a relaxing atmosphere you’ve come to the right location.

I would rate more than five stars if possible. I use Brittany at Salon Zen, from the time you walk in to the time you walk out she makes sure you have a pleasurable experience! The atmosphere is so relaxing, they offer you drinks, and even the other stylist will ask if you need anything and chat as they walk by. Brittany always gets my hair the perfect color and will recommend what she thinks will look good on me if I’m ever indecisive. Highly recommend!

This salon is amazing, the interior is so clean and inviting. I had an appointment with Brittany today and she did such an amazing job on bringing my blonde back to life and ensuring that it blends well when it grows out since I like low maintenance hair. From the start she listened to me and helped steer me in the right direction for what I wanted for my hair! I can’t recommend her enough, my hair has never looked better! I went to the same hair stylist for 25+ years in Ohio…so when I moved to Amelia Island, finding the right person who used only organic products was important to me! Salon Zen and Suzanne was ideal! High-end organic products for both hair and skin…and a talented stylist who knows how to cut my hair so my curls can do all the work!
