I’ve never had my hair professionally done before and wanted to go to a place with good reviews considering it would be my first time. I was hoping the staff would be kind and welcoming but I was mistaken. I had booked an appointment with Michelle but when I got there she told me she didn’t have time for me and literally just pushed me to the side. She then made someone else do my hair because she didn’t want to. So, Elizabeth took over. She was very nice and I really enjoyed talking to her. She did a wonderful job. She deserves to work somewhere with more civil coworkers. Even the owner acted like she didn’t want me there. Overall, the service was horrible and the prices are too expensive. I loved Elizabeth and the job she did but I will never come back again.

Debra is so amazing!! I loved the way she explained what she was doing WHEN SHE WAS DOING IT!! She let me look at it and see if i liked it before she moved on! She was so reassuring, kind, professional, and very fast pace. And i could never forget MY HAIRRR looks sooo amazing!!! 1,000/10 recommend (Down below is before and after pictures)

BAILEY. Go see Bailey. She’ll make you feel like you’re on Jersey Shore walking down the beach with your hair flowing like you own it. She can cut, color, whatever you need. She not only listens to exactly what you want, but can execute it! This isn’t my first time booking with her, and I will no longer see anyone else. Tell ya wife, tell ya kids, tell ya dogs! This girl can color some hair.

I went to the salon and showed a picture of what I wanted done. The results were awful and nothing like the picture. I paid $200 for something that looked like I did it myself. This wouldn’t have bothered me too much, sometimes it happens that you get a bad stylist. What bothered me is that I reached out about it. I showed pictures of my hair and how bad it looked, and they refused to do anything about it. They wouldn’t refund my money. I told them to let the stylist keep the tip portion because it was still time out of her day, but I didn’t get what I paid for. So I gave this place money in exchange for a service that I never received. I wouldn’t have even left a review if they had made this right, but I’m appalled that they could look at how bad my hair looked and do nothing about it. Honestly, just leaves me speechless and goes to show the ethics of management.

If you have curls, you can absolutely trust Tennelle at Salon SOCA! I have searched high and low in the tri cities and abingdon area for someone who has experience dealing with curly hair and I am excited to say, I finally found her! The salon is gorgeous, the staff is very kind and attentive, it’s in a convenient location with little congestion from traffic and I left IN LOVE with my healthy crazy curly locks!
