I said to Tammi, the hairstylist: “I hate to ask, but do you mind wearing a mask?” She became very upset, telling me that she “absolutely will not,” and went on about how she threw out all her masks, and never wear ones, and no one ever needs to wear one, and no one can make her. She was hostile, and acted as if I had asked the most offensive thing anyone could ever ask. I could not get out of there quickly enough.
