Salon Link and Color Bar

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI have been going to Julie since 2011 and I have never had a single complaint. I currently live in Stillwater and make the hour and a half drive down to Salon Link every appointment. Over the time of being Julie’s client I have pursued a career in modeling and can always count on Julie to give me photoshoot ready hair every single time. Julie is not the only thing great about Salon Link and Color Bar. The environment is extremely homey and feels like family. Even stylists who I do not normally see know everything about me. I have been going to Julie since 2011 and I have never had a single complaint. I currently live in Stillwater and make the hour and a half drive down to Salon Link every appointment. Over the time of being Julie’s client I have pursued a career in modeling and can always count on Julie to give me photoshoot ready hair every single time. Julie is not the only thing great about Salon Link and Color Bar. The environment is extremely homey and feels like family. Even stylists who I do not normally see know everything about me. I love this salon and everyone in it.

Critical: Quality, ValueI am giving 2 stars just based on the quality of service I received versus the cost. The ladies were friendly and we talked while she put in my clip in hair extensions and styled them. Madison is who done my hair. I appreciated that she scheduled me for a Saturday the week of as a referral from another stylist who I contacted about doing permanent extensions and who was unavailable this past weekend. I was a bit apprehensive as the stylist had to ask her mom, I’m guessing was the owner of the salon how to put in the clip ins. It seemed like maybe she was a student or brand new beautician. I told her I wanted my hair trimmed at the bottom. She disregarded and did not do it. She charged me 65 dollars for the install and styling of the clip ins which only consisted of curling and installing about 3 clip ins!! Outrageous price for such a sloppy job. Nicegirl, but was very disappointed. I had to restyle the front and I noticed she used three small wedge pieces for the crown of my head instead of the larger weft with 4 clips and used no pieces on the side. I literally had to redo when I got home. I tipped her too which totaled to about 70 dollars. I wouldnt have tipped had I noticed how the extensions were put in. She ignored altogether that I wanted my hair trimmed. I am giving 2 stars just based on the quality of service I received versus the cost. The ladies were friendly and we talked while she put in my clip in hair extensions and styled them. Madison is who done my hair. I was only waiting 15 minutes and then gave them a whole transformation to do on my head! Lol (had reddish/brown hair to the middle of my back, and now I have half black/half rainbow hair!) I’ve never been happier, they didn’t rush the process (A 5 hr transformation) and made sure I knew every step they were doing!
