I love Jeanette! Thanks for understanding what I want from the jump without me having to struggle and explain and show tons of pics. I was so tired of leaving salons crying. When they say, but this is what you asked for, and they make you feel stupid. When it’s quite literal in the picture but not what I asked for verbally. It’s takes a special person to get what you are asking for verbally, not just a picture. I love this salon, it’s so pretty inside and everyone is so nice. It’s like a place where if you go, and u belong you feel like you FINALLY found the place you belong and people that understand. Also amazing price for the work being done, it’s true talent mixed with empathy and an edge. As soon as I can I’m going to get some color because it’s obvious they are bomb at that too. Jeanette’s hair was so pretty! ❤️❤️

I moved to Dormont around the same time my hairstylist left my old salon, so, in need of a new place, I tried out Salon Atmosphere. I’ve had my hair cut & colored here several times since then, and I absolutely love it. The people are nice, the prices are reasonable, and (most importantly) they do great work. My hair is usually some variation of red, which can be hard to achieve without looking like a firetruck (or without staining you scalp for a solid week) – it’s always looked good when I’ve left here!

I was so lucky to find Salon Atmosphere on the Vagaro app. I was long overdue for a haircut and color. I had been working out of the area and my previously hairstylist was booked. When I met Jeanette, she was very open and interested in what I wanted, plus she was super friendly. I was really impressed with my haircut and color. She was very precise in cutting my hair both wet and dry. The salon itself is very welcoming as well. I definitely recommend Jeannette and Salon Atmosphere.

An amazing experience from start to finish! I don’t get my hair cut ofter, so I’m always a little nervous, especially being new to the area, not knowing anyone. However, my nerves were calmed the moment I stepped in the door. Found this gem of a place (and stylist Rachel) through reviews. Such an amazing atmosphere and staff! Rachel was so wonderful. She’s so meticulous and was easy to talk to, as well (normally that is the most awkward part of the experience for me. In addition to cute decor, and the most comfortable salon chairs, they have a little coffee/snack bar. (very sanitary /individually packaged items) Everything was above and beyond my expectations.

I was recommended this place by a friend. All the staff are super talented and friendly! They make you feel at home and like a part of the family. I went to Rachel, who is super friendly and fun. She worked with me and gave me the exact haircut and color I wanted. She listened and explained to me what she was doing as she did it, and is really good at making conversation so you barely even realize you’re getting your hair cut or colored while you’re there. I HIGHLY recommend this salon. It’s truly amazing and I will DEFINITELY be going back for all future cuts and colors.
