To be honest this was a traumatic experience for me as I had walked into the salon with hair down to my hips, and walked out with hair just past my shoulders. This was my first time at the salon too, and I specifically called ahead to ask for a stylist that would be mindful of my request to not cut too much length off of my hair but would be able to revive it with some layers and a face frame along with color. The receptionist assured me I’d have a master stylist that would be able to meet that request. At the salon, the stylist was very nice and put me at ease and I felt like they heard what I had wanted done with my hair. Next thing I know they stylist gathered my hair in the back and did a swift chop off the length of my hair. I had no time to stop them. When I saw that my hair length was just at my chest, I was in shock but was able to remain calm as my hair progressively became shorter through the remainder of the cut. I felt like there really wasn’t anything for me to say or do that would get my hair back obviously and a scene really isn’t my style. Honestly if I had asked for blunt hair cut with long layers I would’ve been more than happy with this cut but it was the exact opposite of what I had asked for and I lost over a foot off the length. On other hand the color was perfect and exactly what I had asked for and the only reason I am giving this experience 2 stars over just 1.
