After reading the reviews I still decided to give them a chance. Big mistake!!! I asked for large Knotless braids and I also show them a picture. The 1st two rolls in the back are small and the rest are medium. Every time I would asked a question she act like she didn’t understand. I told her 10 times I want my hair to look like the picture. I want be going back there. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because it didn’t take all day. This is the second African braid shop I been to and didn’t get what asked for.

I needed our (me and my 9yo daughter) hair braided for school. We were in a bind because 2 braiders cancelled on me. With that I drove around the area looking for open shops. Found this one they agreed to take us. There was 1 lady (8am) she insisted we stay as her sisters were in church and would be coming to help. cool no issue. Another lady arrived bout 10am and jumped right in (I could tell she was the owner as she gave pricing and spoke clear English). So far so good. I appreciated them for taking us as walk ins.

Do not waste your time nor money at this facility. I wanted individuals with big parts and I did not want to stay more than 1.5 hours. The ladies assured me that I wouldn’t stay more than 2 hours, however, I ended up stay over 4 hours. In addition to the time, I was told 180 before they started on my hair. However, after she was finished she told me a different price because I used too much hair. That is not how to handle proper business transactions, stating one price initially then changing it afterwards. I will continue to use the hair braiding service on 138 across the street from Aldi. Where I received individuals for under an one hour for 150 and they write their prices down before starting on your so there isn’t no discrepancies. Again, do not waste your time coming here. It was a holiday and I needed my hair braided and 138 was close. Next time, I will be patient cause I WASTED my time and money and I will remove this style by the end of the week.

Although the ladies were nice, I am not at all happy with my hair. All I ask for was 8 simple cornrows with a side part. I showed her the picture and she asked to see it several times. I even showed her a picture of a what I didn’t want because I did not want my braids all big a bulky. Low a behold I end up with big bulky braids (that’s not even cornrowed) that make my ears poke out with a freaking middle part that looks horrible! Who does that! Definitely a waste of money as these will be coming out tomorrow! If I didn’t have a wedding to attend today they would be out today. UGH!!! My mom’s friend could have done a better job. SMH!!
